資訊及電訊協調廳的主要職責是研究、協調、評估、訂定和執行司法警察局履行職責所需的資訊及電訊系統計劃，並從資訊及電訊層面研究預防和打擊犯罪的專門技術，負責設計、裝置、保養有關設備，以及就電腦法證處在高科技犯罪的調查工作上提供技術協助。

資訊處

　　資訊處隸屬資訊及電訊協調廳，具有以下職權：為使資訊渠道合理化及司法警察局履行職責，設計、裝置、操作及保養最適合的自動化及電腦化資訊處理系統，並確保其安全及良好運作；經常監察及評估資訊系統，以確保資訊設備及應用程式的質素，以及使其確實符合司法警察局的總體目標和各附屬單位的特定目標；確保與保安部門或同類機構保持聯繫，以及與澳門特別行政區其他公共機構及實體的資訊中心合作，促進所使用的資訊處理方法的兼容性。

電訊處

　　電訊處隸屬資訊及電訊協調廳，主要職責為協助上級就電訊層面研究預防和打擊犯罪的專門技術，主要職責為：從電訊技術層面評估和分析以高科技實施犯罪的現況及趨勢，研究預防犯罪的策略，採用科學方法及儀器輔助刑事調查部門調查犯罪。在內部運作方面，電訊處亦參與司法警察局內部電訊設備的管理，包括負責電訊系統及電子設備的設計、裝置、操作、保養及其安全，提供技術支援；為設備的現代化進行研究和評估，並提出優化的建議，以及進行相關的採購程序。另一方面，電訊處更負責保養和操作用作調查的高科技設備，以及就電訊技術上與電信管理局、各電訊網絡供應商、保安部門或同類機構保持聯繫。

電腦法證處

　　電腦法證處隸屬資訊及電訊協調廳，具有技術上的獨立性，其職權主要包括：從資訊技術層面協助調查與資訊及高科技相關的犯罪；從電腦系統及電腦數據資料儲存載體進行搜集、檢驗及分析與犯罪相關的電子證據，並在法庭上進行舉證；從資訊技術層面研究預防以資訊及高科技實施犯罪的趨勢。

網絡安全處

　　網絡安全處隸屬資訊及電訊協調廳，有技術上的獨立性，主要職責為對預防和調查網絡犯罪提供技術支援；行使法律賦予司法警察局網絡安全方面的職權，尤其是有關網絡安全事故的預警及應急方面的職權。

      The I.T. and Telecommunications Coordination Department is responsible for analyzing, coordinating, assessing, defining and executing all necessary I.T. and telecommunications system plans required by the Judiciary Police in carrying out its duties, as well as studying from I.T. and telecommunications point of view, specific technology to prevent and suppress crimes. The Department is also responsible for designing, installing and maintaining all related equipment, and providing technical assistance to Computer Forensic Division on investigations of highly technological crimes.

 Information Technology Division

      The Information Technology Division is subordinate to the I.T. and Telecommunications Coordination Department and is responsible for designing, installing, implementing and maintaining the most suitable automated and computerized IT processing systems so as to facilitate a rationalized information channel and the duties of the Judiciary Police, as well as ensuring safe and smooth operations of the systems. This Division constantly inspects and evaluates the IT systems to ensure the quality of such IT facilities and application programs to make sure these facilities fulfill the overall objectives of the Judiciary Police and the specific objectives of the subsidiary units. This Division also maintains the communications between the Judiciary Police and other security departments and related institutions, and cooperates with the IT centres of other public organizations and entities of the Macao SAR to enhance compatibility of methods used to process information technology.

Telecommunications Division

      The Telecommunications Division is subordinate to the I.T. and Telecommunications Coordination Department. Its main duty is to assist the higher level from the aspect of telecommunications to study the expertise in preventing and combating crimes. It uses telecommunication technology to evaluate and analyze current situation and trend of high-tech crimes, explores strategies for crime prevention, and assists investigation departments in areas of investigation via scientific ways and equipment. 

      For internal operations, the Telecommunications Division participates in the management of the Judiciary Police's overall telecommunication facilities which include designing, installing, operating, and maintaining telecommunication systems and electronic equipment, and their safety, as well as providing technical support. The Division is also responsible for researching, evaluating, promoting suggestions and purchasing telecommunication facilities so as to cope with modernization of such facilities. On the other hand, the Telecommunications Division is responsible for the maintenance and operation of high-tech investigation facilities and maintaining contact with the Bureau of Telecommunications Regulation, all telecommunications network providers, security departments or similar institutions.

Computer Forensic Division

      The Computer Forensic Division is subordinate to the I.T. and Telecommunications Coordination Department, possessing independence on technology and is responsible for assisting from the area of information technology the investigation of I.T. and high-tech related crimes; gathering, inspecting and analyzing crime-related electronic evidence from computer systems and databases and presenting evidence to the court. The Division is also responsible to study on how to prevent the rising trend of information and high-tech crimes from the perspective of information technology.

Cyber Security Division

      Subordinated to the I.T. and Telecommunications Coordination Department, the Cyber Security Division maintains technical independence. Its major duties include providing technical support for the prevention and investigation of cybercrimes; exercising cyber security-related authority vested in the Judiciary Police by law, particularly authority regarding the early warning of and emergency response to cyber security incidents.

    Ao Departamento de Coordenação de Informática e Telecomunicações compete essencialmente estudar, coordenar, avaliar, definir e executar os planos de sistemas informáticos e de telecomunicações necessários para a prossecução das atribuições da Polícia Judiciária, bem como estudar, a nível de informática e telecomunicações, as técnicas especializadas de prevenção criminal e de combate à criminalidade, competindo-lhe ainda conceber, instalar e manter os respectivos equipamentos, e coadjuvar, a nível técnico-informático, a investigação de crimes de alta tecnologia da Divisão de Informática Forense.

Divisão de Informática

     À Divisão de Informática, subordinada ao Departamento de Coordenação de Informática e Telecomunicações, compete conceber, instalar, explorar e manter os sistemas de tratamento automático e computarizado da informação mais aptos à racionalização dos circuitos e à prossecução das atribuições da PJ, bem como garantir a sua segurança e o seu funcionamento. Compete igualmente proceder à monitorização e reavaliação permanente dos sistemas informáticos, com vista a garantir a qualidade dos equipamentos e das aplicações informáticas e sua efectiva adequação aos objectivos globais da PJ e aos especiais de cada subunidade orgânica da PJ. Do conjunto de competências desta Divisão faz parte ainda a garantia da ligação com os serviços de segurança ou instituições congéneres e a cooperação com os demais centros de informática existentes nos serviços e entidades públicas da RAEM, a fim de promover a compatibilidade de metodologias utilizadas no tratamento de informação.

Divisão de Telecomunicações

     À Divisão de Telecomunicações, subordinada ao Departamento de Coordenação de Informática e Telecomunicações, compete essencialmente apoiar o superior no estudo, a nível técnico das telecomunicações, da prevenção criminal e combate à criminalidade técnica especializada, as suas tarefas principais são avaliar e analisar, a nível técnico das telecomunicações, a situação e as tendências actuais no âmbito da prática de crimes com recurso às novas tecnologias, estudar as estratégias de prevenção criminal e prestar apoio aos departamentos de investigação criminal no âmbito da investigação de crimes onde é feito uso de métodos e aparelhos científicos. Relativamente ao funcionamento interno, a Divisão de Telecomunicações também toma parte de gestão dos equipamentos de telecomunicações do interior da PJ, incluindo conceber, instalar, explorar e manter os sistemas de telecomunicações e os equipamentos electrónicos, bem como garantir a sua segurança e apoio técnico; estudar e avaliar a modernização, propondo o aperfeiçoamento dos equipamentos e proceder aos respectivos processos de aquisição. Além disso, a Divisão de Telecomunicações assegura ainda a manutenção e exploração dos equipamentos de alta tecnologia utilizados na investigação e garante, a nível técnico das telecomunicações, a ligação com a Direcção dos Serviços de Regulação de Telecomunicações, os fornecedores da rede de telecomunicações, os serviços de segurança e as entidades análogas.

Divisão de Informática Forense

     À Divisão de Informática Forense, subordinada ao Departamento de Coordenação de Informática e de Telecomunicações, goza de independência técnica, e compete-lhe essencialmente coadjuvar, a nível técnico-informático, na investigação de crimes relacionados com a informática e com a alta tecnologia, bem como proceder à recolha, exame e análise das provas electrónicas relacionadas com os crimes, em sistemas informáticos, e fazer prova da veracidade de factos em juízo. A esta Divisão compete ainda proceder ao estudo, a nível técnico-informático, das tendências de prevenção criminal no âmbito da prática de crimes com recurso à informática e à alta tecnologia.

Divisão de Cibersegurança

     A Divisão de Cibersegurança, subordinada ao Departamento de Coordenação de Informática e Telecomunicações, goza de independência técnica, a ela compete, essencialmente, dar apoio técnico na prevenção e investigação do crime cibernético; exercer as competências que forem legalmente cometidas à PJ no âmbito da cibersegurança, nomeadamente aquels relacionadas com o alerta e resposta a incidentes de cibersegurança.
