Issuance of “Certificate of Case Reporting Record”
Service Overview

Service Content
  After filing a report with statement taken at the Judiciary Police, the complainant or interested party may apply for a “Certificate of Case Reporting Record” either in person at the Judiciary Police or through the dedicated webpage on the Judiciary Police website (online application service is limited to individual applicants only). Provided that the applicant meets all relevant application requirements, the Judiciary Police will issue the aforesaid certificate within 9 working days.

Service targets and application criteria
  The complainant or interested party who has filed a report with statement taken at the Judiciary Police.

Scope of Application
  The “Certificate of Case Reporting Record” may be submitted by the applicant to public authorities in Macao or used for the following purposes:

  1. To certify that the applicant has reported the aforementioned case to the Judiciary Police;
  2. All items reported stolen by the applicant and their respective values are listed in the certificate;
  3. Submission to insurance company for insurance claim;
  4. Replacement of identification documents and various licences;
  5. Replacement of identification documents and various licences;
  6. Other personal uses.
※ The “Certificate of Case Reporting Record” issued by the Judiciary Police is generally not applicable to overseas agencies.

Certificate Content
  The “Certificate of Case Reporting Record” shall list the identity information of the complainant or interested party and the purpose of the application. It also contains basic details of the established case file and a summary of the statement taken from the complainant or interested party at the Judiciary Police, which primarily covering the circumstances of the incident, the amount of loss, or information regarding valuable items.

Service Outcome
  The Judiciary Police will issue the “Certificate of Case Reporting Record” within 9 working days starting from the first working day after all required documents are received.#

# For online applications, no authorisation for collection is allowed; applicants must collect the certificate in person at the Judiciary Police.
