The Judiciary Police holds the 2018 “Judiciary Police Day”

he activities for the “Judiciary Police Day” were held on 11th July 2018. The award ceremony held at the headquarters of the Judiciary Police in the morning was officiated by Secretary for Security Wong Sio Chak, Commissioner General Ma Io Kun of the Unitary Police Service, Prosecutor General Ip Son Sang of the Public Prosecutions Office, Minister Yu Cheng-ping of the Police Liaison Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government, Deputy Secretary-General Xiang Wei-dong of National Narcotics Control Commission, President Leonel Alves of the Macao Public Security Forces Disciplinary Commission and Director Sit Chong Meng of the Judiciary Police. In his speech delivered at the award ceremony, Director Sit Chong Meng concluded the work of law enforcement of the past year, assessed the future situation of law and order, and presented various future work plans. This year, 11 staff persons were awarded the Exceptional Merit Award, 111 staff members were awarded the Individual Commendation Award while 6 working teams and 4 investigation groups were awarded the Group Commendation Award.

The PJ Day Gala Dinner held in the same evening was attended by President Ho Iat Seng of the Legislative Assembly, Secretary for Security Wong Sio Chak, Commissioner General Ma Io Kun of the Unitary Police Service, Director-general Vong Iao Lek of the Macao Customs Service, Prosecutor General Ip Son Sang of the Public Prosecutions Office, Vice President Chui Sai Cheong of the Legislative Assembly, Minister Yu Cheng-ping of the Police Liaison Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government, Deputy Secretary-General Xiang Wei-dong of National Narcotics Control Commission, Director of Functions Ran Bo of the Policy Research Department of the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China in Macao Special Administrative Region and Deputy Chief of Staff Gao Zhi-jun of the People's Liberation Army Macau Garrison and joined by representatives from the police forces of mainland China, Hong Kong and Singapore, members of the Macao Executive Council and Legislative Assembly, judicial officials, President Leonel Alves and members of the Macao Public Security Forces Disciplinary Commission, Macao SAR government entities officials, representatives from non-governmental organizations, “PJ Friends of Crime Prevention in Residential Buildings”, media organizations, etc. The award ceremony for the photography competition “Judiciary Police in the Eyes of the Media 2018” and various internal contests was held during the banquet. The Judiciary Police staff, joined by colleagues from other security departments and trainees of Junior Anti-Crime Pioneers, took the stage with various performances in the heartwarming and festive dinner.

“Dia da Polícia Judiciária 2018”

No dia 11 de Julho, realizaram-se as actividades do “Dia da Polícia Judiciária”. De manhã, decorreu na sede da PJ a Cerimónia de Entrega de Prémios e, para a ocasião, foram convidados de honra o Secretário para a Segurança, Wong Sio Chak, o Comandante-Geral dos Serviços de Polícia Unitários, Ma Io Kun, o Procurador do Ministério Público, Ip Son Sang, o Director-Geral dos Serviços de Ligação para os Assuntos Policiais do Gabinete de Ligação do Governo Popular Central da República Popular da China na Região Administrativa Especial de Macau, Yu Chengpin, o Secretário-Geral Adjunto da Comissão Nacional de Luta contra a Droga da RPC, Xiang Weidong e o Presidente da Comissão de Fiscalização de Disciplina das Forças e Serviços de Segurança, Leonel Alberto Alves, juntamente com o Director da PJ, Sit Chong Meng. Na cerimónia, o nosso director fez um balanço do trabalho ao longo do ano passado, efectuou uma avaliação das tendências criminais e mostrou o respectivo planeamento. Foram ainda atribuídas menções de mérito excepcional a 11 funcionários, 111 louvores individuais e louvores colectivos a 6 equipas de trabalho e a 4 grupos de investigação criminal.

Nessa noite, organizou-se o jantar do “Dia da Polícia Judiciária”, onde estiveram presentes, além das individualidades que assistiram às actividades do “Dia da PJ” realizadas desse manhã, o Presidente da Assembleia Legislativa, Ho Iat Seng, o Secretário para a Segurança, Wong Sio Chak, o Comandante-Geral dos Serviços de Polícia Unitários, Ma Io Kun, Director-Geral dos Serviços de Alfândega, Vong Iao Lek, o Procurador do Ministério Público, Ip Son Sang, vice-presidente da AL, Chui Sai Cheong, Chefe do Gabinete de Estudo das Políticas do Comissariado do Ministério dos Negócios Estrangeiros da RPC na RAEM, Ran Bo, Subchefe do Estado-Maior da Guarnição em Macau do Exército de Libertação do Povo Chinês, Gao Zhijun, assim como representantes de algumas entidades policiais da China continental, Hong Kong e Singapura, membros do Conselho Executivo, deputados à Assembleia Legislativa, magistrados e vários membros desta comissão, titulares de cargos do Governo da RAEM, e representantes de várias associações, do grupo “Amigos da Prevenção Criminal na Área da Habitação” e dos órgãos de comunicação social. O jantar foi marcado pela entrega dos prémios do Concurso de Fotografia “A Polícia Judiciária – Vista pelos Olhos da Imprensa 2018” e de outros concursos internos. Para além disso, os funcionários da PJ, os colegas de outros serviços da área de segurança e os participantes do projecto “Guia Juvenil para Combater o Crime” fizeram várias actuações no espectáculo que animaram o evento.
