入屋盜竊是一種嚴重罪行，根據本澳《刑法典》第198條（加重盜竊罪）的規定，任何人以不法手段進入或匿藏於他人住宅、商業或工業場所又或其他密閉空間內盜取他人財物便屬違法，最高可處5年徒刑，或科最高600日罰金；如藉破毀、爬越或假鑰匙侵入上述地方內進行盜竊者，處2至10年徒刑。

Burglary is a serious crime which, as stipulated in Article 198 of the Penal Code (Aggravated theft), refers to anyone who steals others’ properties by entering or hiding in others’ residence, commercial or industrial establishments or other confined spaces via illegal means. It is a breach of law and is punishable by a maximum penalty of 5 years of imprisonment or 600 days’ fine. If the theft is committed by means of encroachment on the aforementioned premises via breaking, climbing or using a fake key, the penalty is 2 to 10 years of imprisonment.

O furto em residência é um crime grave. De acordo com a disposição do art. 198.º (Crime de furto qualificado) do Código Penal de Macau, quem furtar coisa móvel alheia introduzindo-se ilegitimamente em habitação, estabelecimento comercial ou industrial ou outro espaço fechado, ou aí permaneça escondido com intenção de furtar, é punido com pena de prisão até 5 anos ou com pena de multa até 600 dias; quando for por arrombamento, escalamento ou uso de chaves falsas, é punido com pena de prisão de 2 a 10 anos.
