根據《禁毒法》第27條規定，如有強烈跡象顯示涉嫌人體內藏有表一至表四所列植物、物質或製劑，刑事警察機關須對其進行搜查，並在有需要時進行鑑定。刑事警察機關可將涉嫌人送往醫院或其他合適的場所，並要求其在進行鑑定所確實必需的時間內，留於上述地點。如涉嫌人拒絕接受獲許可進行的搜查或鑑定，且事先已被適當警告其行為的刑事後果者，處最高2年徒刑，或科最高240日罰金。

According to the stipulation of Article 27 of the “Anti-Drug Law”, if there are strong indications that an involved person is concealing the plants, substances or preparations listed in Schedules I to IV in his/her body cavity, the criminal police authority shall search the involved person and, if necessary, conduct verification.  The criminal police authority may transfer the involved person to a hospital or other suitable place and require him or her to remain there for as long as is strictly necessary for the conduct of the verification.  If an involved person refuses to accept an authorized search or verification, and has been duly warned in advance of the criminal consequences of his or her actions, he or she may be sentenced to a maximum of 2 years of imprisonment or a fine of up to 240 days.

Nos termos das disposições do artigo 27.º da Lei de Combate à Droga, quando houver fortes indícios de que um suspeito oculta no seu corpo plantas, substâncias ou preparados compreendidos nas tabelas I a IV, é efectuada, pelo órgão de polícia criminal, a revista e, se necessário, procede-se a perícia. O suspeito pode ser conduzido a estabelecimento hospitalar ou a outro estabelecimento adequado e aí permanecer pelo tempo estritamente necessário à realização da perícia. O suspeito, depois de devidamente advertido das consequências penais do seu acto, se recusar a ser submetido a revista ou a perícia autorizada é punido com pena de prisão até 2 anos ou com pena de multa até 240 dias.
