根據第11/2009號法律《打擊電腦犯罪法》第11條的規定，電腦詐騙是指意圖為自己或第三人不正當得利，而作出輸入、更改、刪除或消除電腦數據資料，介入電腦數據資料處理的結果，不正確設定電腦程式，干預電腦系統的運作，並造成他人財產有所損失的行為，其刑罰最高為3年徒刑或科罰金，即使犯罪未遂，也會受到處罰。如作出行為時造成他人的財產損失超逾澳門幣3萬元，行為人可被科處1至5年徒刑；當造成的損失超逾澳門幣15萬元時，更可判處2至10年徒刑。

According to the stipulation of Article 11 of Law No.11/2009, “Law on Combating Computer Crimes”, computer fraud refers to the act of importing, altering, deleting or erasing computer data, intervening in the outcome of computer data processing, improperly setting computer programs, interfering in the operation of computer systems and causing losses to the property of another person, with the intention of gaining improper benefits to oneself or a third person. The maximum penalty is three years of imprisonment or a fine, even in the case of an attempted offence. If the act is committed in a way that causes losses to the property of another person in excess of MOP 30,000, the perpetrator is liable to an imprisonment term of 1 to 5 years; if the loss incurred exceeds MOP150,000, an imprisonment term of 2 to 10 years may be sentenced.

Em conformidade com o disposto no art. 11.º da Lei n.º 11/2009 (Lei de combate à criminalidade informática), a burla informática refere-se a quem, com intenção de obter enriquecimento ilegítimo para si ou para terceiro, causando prejuízo patrimonial a outrem através de introduzir, alterar, suprimir ou eliminar dados informáticos; interferir no resultado do tratamento de dados informáticos; estruturar incorrectamente programa informático; intervier no funcionamento de sistema informático, e a pena é até 3 anos de prisão ou multa. Mesmo no caso de tentativa, é punível. Se o prejuízo patrimonial causado for superior a 30 mil patacas, o agente poderá ser punido com pena de prisão de 1 a 5 anos; Se o prejuízo causado for superior a 150 mil patacas, poderá ainda ser punido com pena de prisão de 2 a 10 anos.
