兩內地漢涉不法經營線上博彩被捕
本局早前接獲情報，指有人在路氹城區一娛樂場內從事俗稱“電投”的非法經營博彩活動。經調查，本局博彩罪案調查處人員於2026年10月20日下午在該娛樂場截獲兩名涉案內地男子，並將其帶返本局跟進。
調查顯示，兩名涉案內地男子當日在該娛樂場賭博期間均配戴藍牙耳機。其中一人負責下注，另一人則利用手機通訊軟件直播拍攝賭局過程，兩人透過藍牙耳機接收身處內地客人的指示替其下注，藉此獲取不法利益。
行動中，本局人員在兩名涉案男子身上共搜獲11.5萬港元籌碼、2,600元人民幣現金、2張會員卡、1個耳機盒連2隻藍牙耳機及3部手機。
本局根據調查所得，以不法經營線上幸運博彩或線上互相博彩罪，將兩名涉案內地男子移送檢察院偵辦。
Two Mainland men arrested for illegal operation of online gaming
The Judiciary Police received intelligence earlier, indicating that individuals had been engaging in illegal operation of gaming activities (so-called “proxy betting”) at a casino in Cotai district. Subsequent to investigation, the Gaming-related Crimes Division personnel of the Judiciary Police intercepted the two involved Mainland men at the casino on the afternoon of 20th October 2026, and subsequently brought them back to the Judiciary Police for follow-up.
Investigation revealed that both of the two involved Mainland men were wearing Bluetooth earpieces while gambling at the casino that day. One of them was responsible for placing bets, while the other used a mobile messaging app to livestream the gambling sessions. The duo received instructions from a client located in Mainland via their Bluetooth earpieces and placed bets on the client’s behalf, thereby obtaining illicit profits.
During the operation, the Judiciary Police personnel seized a total of HKD115,000 in gaming chips, RMB2,600 in cash, 2 membership cards, 1 charging case with 2 Bluetooth earpieces, and 3 mobile phones from the two involved men.
Based on investigative findings, the Judiciary Police transferred the two involved Mainland men to the Public Prosecutions Office for the offence of illegal operation of online games of fortune or online mutual gaming.
