兩內地漢涉不法匯兌就逮
本局博彩罪案調查處根據情報查悉有人在本澳從事不法匯兌活動，經部署後於2025年2月6日下午採取行動，在路氹城區一娛樂場內截獲正與客人兌換貨幣的兩名涉案內地男子，在兩人身上檢獲與犯罪有關的四部手提電話、3.6萬港元現金及575,400港元籌碼，並在客人身上起回涉案的1萬港元籌碼。
本局根據調查所得，以經營為賭博的不法匯兌罪將兩名涉案內地男子移送檢察院偵辦。
Two mainland Chinese men arrested for illegal currency exchange
Following intelligence, the Gaming-related Crimes Division of the Judiciary Police learnt that someone had been engaging in illegal currency exchange activity in Macao, hence its action taken on the afternoon of 6th February 2025 upon deployment. Two involved mainland Chinese men exchanging currencies with customers at a casino in Cotai were intercepted. Four mobile phones, HKD 36,000 of cash and HKD 575,400 of chips related to crime were seized on them, while HKD 10,000 of chips on the customers.
Based on investigative findings, the Judiciary Police transferred the two involved mainland Chinese men to the Public Prosecutions Office for the charge of operating illegal currency exchange for gambling.
Detidos dois homens do continente por troca ilegal de dinheiro
A Divisão de Investigação de Crimes Relacionados com o Jogo, de acordo com as informações obtidas, verificou a prática de actividades de troca ilegal de dinheiro, assim, desencadeou uma operação na tarde de 6 de Fevereiro de 2025, e num casino da zona do COTAI deteve dois homens do continente que estavam a trocar dinheiro com um indivíduo, nas sua posse foram apreendidos 4 telemóveis, 36.000 HKD em numerário e 575.400 HKD em fichas e na posse do cliente 10.000 HKD em fichas.
Com base no que foi apurado na investigação, os dois suspeitos foram presentes ao Ministério Público por exploração de câmbio ilícito para jogo.
