四內地男女分涉經營為賭博的不法匯兌及收留被捕

本局接獲情報，指有不法分子在本澳路氹城區一娛樂場酒店內從事不法匯兌活動。

本局有組織罪案調查處立即展開調查，於2025年1月22日在上述酒店一客房內截獲四名涉案內地男女（兩男兩女），以及兩名內地客人（一男一女），並在其中一名涉案內地女子身上檢獲1,773,500港元及1,800元人民幣現金，在一名涉案內地男子身上檢獲572,600港元及1,500元人民幣現金，以及在另一名涉案內地女子身上檢獲66,700港元籌碼及6,000港元現金。同時，在四名涉案內地男女的手機中發現多筆從事不法匯兌的轉帳記錄和不法匯兌群組的對話訊息。

經深入調查，證實四名涉案內地男女分別自2023年至2025年期間來澳從事不法匯兌活動。其中次名涉案內地男子為偷渡入境，本局已就其不經出入境管控入境行為另立卷宗調查。此外，該名內地男客人為逾期留澳人士，其在逾期留澳期間，每日向首名涉案內地男子支付200港元作為入住涉案客房之費用。

博的不法匯兌罪、收留非法入境或非法逗留的人罪將四名涉案內地男女移送檢察院偵辦。

Four mainlanders nabbed for involvement in operating illegal currency exchange for gambling and sheltering respectively

The Judiciary Police was tipped off that there were culprits engaging in illegal currency exchange activities in a casino hotel in the Cotai district of Macao.

The Organised Crime Division of the Judiciary Police launched an investigation in no time. On 22nd January 2025, 4 involved mainlanders (two men and two women) and 2 mainland patrons (one man and one woman) were intercepted inside a guest room of the aforesaid hotel. In addition, HKD1,773,500 and RMB1,800 in cash were seized from one of the involved mainland women. From an involved mainland man, HKD572,600 and RMB1,500 in cash were seized, while HKD66,700 worth of chips and HKD6,000 in cash were seized from another involved mainland woman. Meanwhile, multiple transfer records involving the engagement of illegal currency exchanges and conversation messages of illegal currency exchange groups were found on the mobile phones of the four involved mainlanders.

Upon in-depth investigation, it was confirmed that, the four involved mainlanders came to Macao to engage in illegal currency exchange activities during the period from 2023 to 2025 respectively. Among them, the second involved mainland man entered the territory illegally. Given his act of entering the territory without going through immigration control, the Judiciary Police had established a separate case file for investigation. Furthermore, the involved mainland male patron was an overstayer in Macao. During his period of overstaying, he paid the first involved mainland man HKD200 per day for staying in the involved guest room.

Upon integrating investigative results, the Judiciary Police transferred the four involved mainlanders to the Public Prosecutions Office for the offences of operating illegal currency exchange for gambling and sheltering illegal immigrants or illegal stayers.

Detidos quatro residentes do continente por exploração de câmbio ilícito para jogo e acolhimento

A PJ recebeu informações sobre a existência de actividades de câmbio ilícito num hotel casino da zona do COTAI. O pessoal da Divisão de Investigação e Combate ao Banditismo iniciou de imediato a investigação e no dia 22 de Janeiro de 2025, foram interceptadas, num quarto do hotel em causa, quatro pessoas (dois homens e duas mulheres) e dois clientes (um homem e uma mulher) todos do continente. Na posse de uma das mulheres detidas foram apreendidos 1.773.500 HKD e 1.800 RMB em dinheiro; em um dos detidos 572.600 HKD e 1.500 RMB em dinheiro; e na outra detida 66.700 HKD em fichas e 6.000 HKD em dinheiro. A par disso, nos telemóveis dos quatro suspeitos foram encontrados vários registos de transferências e mensagens em grupo associados à prática de câmbio ilícito.

Após averiguação, verificou-se que os quatro detido começaram a praticar em 2023 câmbio ilícito em Macau e como o segundo homem suspeito entrou clandestinamente em Macau sem passar pelo controlo fronteiriço, a PJ instaurou um processo de investigação separado. Além disso, um dos clientes, do continente, tinha também o visto de permanência caducado, e durante esta estadia em Macau, tinha pago 200 HKD por dia ao primeiro homem como taxa de alojamento no quarto em causa.

Com base nos resultados da investigação, os quatro suspeitos foram presentes ao MP pelos crimes de exploração de câmbio ilícito para jogo, acolhimento e imigração ilegal, respectivamente.
