兩內地漢涉加重盜竊就逮
2016年5月7日，內地女事主在朋友陪同下往新口岸區某店舖刷卡提取30萬港元，分成三份後放在朋友的手袋裏。二人其後到中區某娛樂場準備賭博時，發現失去其中一份現金，損失10萬港元，遂報案求助。本局侵犯財物罪案調查科接手調查，鎖定兩名內地男子的身份，於5月24日及25日先後緝獲兩名涉案人。兩名涉案人承認犯案，並供述已將大部份贓款用作還債及賭輸。此外，經深入調查，其中一名涉案人還涉嫌於5月21日在中區一娛樂場盜取另一名內地女子放在外套袋內的35,000港元。本局以加重盜竊罪將兩名涉案人移送檢察院偵訊。
Two mainland men arrested for involvement in aggravated theft
On May 7th, the female victim from mainland, accompanied by a friend, went to a shop in the ZAPE district to withdraw HKD300,000 by card swiping. The money was divided into three packages and put inside the handbag of the friend. When the two reached a casino in the central district and was preparing to gamble, they found that one package of cash was missing, resulting in a loss of HKD100,000. They reported to the police for assistance. The Judiciary Police’s Section for Offences against Property initiated investigation and identified two mainland men. On May 24th and 25th, the two involved individuals were captured respectively. The two admitted to have committed the crime, and confessed that most of the stolen money had already been used for repaying debts and gambling. Moreover, after in-depth investigation, it was found that one of the involved individuals was suspected to have stolen HKD35,000 from the pocket of the jacket of another mainland woman in a central district casino on May 21st. The Judiciary Police transferred the two involved individuals to the Public Prosecutions Office for the offence of aggravated theft.
Detidos dois homens da China continental por furto qualificado
No dia 7 de Maio de 2016, uma mulher da China continental, acompanhada por um amigo, levantou 300 mil HKD com um cartão de crédito numa loja do ZAPE. O dinheiro foi dividido em três partes e colocado na mala do amigo. Ao jogarem num casino da zona central, aperceberam-se de que tinha desaparecido uma parte do dinheiro, num valor de 100 mil HKD, fizeram assim queixa na PJ.
A Secção de Investigação de Crimes Contra a Propriedade iniciou a investigação, na qual foram identificados dois homens da China continental que foram detidos nos dias 24 e 25 de Maio respectivamente. Os dois confessaram o crime e afirmaram que a maioria do dinheiro furtado tinha sido usada para pagar dívidas e jogar. Apurou-se ainda que um dos suspeitos estaria envolvido num caso de furto ocorrido no dia 21 de Maio, no qual este tinha furtado a uma outra mulher do continental 35 mil HKD, colocados no bolso do casaco, num casino da zona central. Os dois detidos foram presentes ao MP por furto qualificado.
