本局於6月24日凌晨接獲治安警察局通知，新口岸巴黎街某住宅單位發生一宗嚴重傷人案，傷者已被即時送往醫院救治。本局立即派員調查，搜獲兇器和吸毒工具，並拘獲兩名涉案內地男子。經調查，發現涉案男子及其女友居於上址的非法旅館內，案發前二人與房東在外飲酒消遣後返回單位後，涉案男子多次以房東的手機致電內地男事主要求提供毒品，事主拒絕及感到受滋擾，聯同兩名男友人前往上址質問涉案人，雙方發生口角和推撞，後來涉案人從廚房取出菜刀襲擊事主，傷及頭部和頸部，導致其出現失血性休克及有生命危險，另外雙前臂肌腱斷裂、左手中指和右手拇指骨折。事主的一名友人曾上前勸阻，亦被涉案男子斬傷左眼眶，其負傷逃走及通知事主女友報警求助。治安警員其後於大廈地下大堂將欲逃離現場的涉案男子及房東制服，而涉案男子的女友則在混亂間逃脫。本局分別以殺人未遂及收留非法入境者罪將兩名涉案人移送檢察院處理，並繼續追緝在逃女子。
Mainland Chinese men arrested for attempted homicide
The Public Security Police Force informed the Judiciary Police before daybreak on June 24th that there was a case of serious assault in an apartment on Rua de Paris in NAPE. The casualty was immediately rushed to the hospital. The Judiciary Police promptly deployed officers for investigation, seizing the weapon and drug paraphernalia and arresting two male suspects from mainland China. Investigation revealed that one of the men and his girlfriend stayed at the aforementioned illegal accommodation. After the two of them returned from drinks with the landlord, the suspect repeatedly called the mainland Chinese male victim with the landlord’s mobile phone and offered to provide drugs. Having refused and feeling disturbed, the victim questioned the suspect with two male friends at the aforementioned apartment. They started to quarrel and shovel. The suspect then took out a knife from the kitchen and attacked the victim, injuring his head and neck. The victim fell into hemorrhagic shock and was in a life-threatening condition. He also suffered broken tendons in both forearms, fractured left middle finger and right thumb. One of the victim’s friends tried to interfere but was slashed in his left eye socket by the male suspect. Wounded, he escaped to inform the victim’s girlfriend to report to the police. Officers of the Public Security Police Force later subdued the fleeing man and landlord involved at the ground-floor lobby of the building. The involved man’s girlfriend managed to flee in disarray. The Judiciary Police transferred the two suspects to the Public Prosecutions Office for the charges of attempted homicide and sheltering illegal immigrants respectively, meanwhile hunting for the absconded woman.

Na madrugada de 24 de Junho, a PJ recebeu uma notificação da PSP, afirmando que ocorreu um caso de ofensas graves à integridade física num apartamento da Rua de Paris no NAPE e uma pessoa, foi transportada para hospital. Os nossos agentes iniciaram a investigação, na qual encontraram uma arma letal e alguns instrumentos para consumo de droga e detiveram dois homens da China continental. De acordo com a investigação, um dos detidos e a sua namorada alojavam numa pensão ilegal naquele apartamento. Antes da ocorrência, o casal conviveu e bebeu com o proprietário da pensão ilegal. Quando voltaram para o apartamento, o hóspede ligou muitas vezes para uma pessoa da China continental com o telemóvel do dono da pensão para pedir droga. O outro recusou e ficou zangado, foi à pensão com outros dois e culpou o indivíduo que lhe tinha telefonado, começou uma discussão, o hóspede foi à cozinha e trouxe uma faca e atacou a vítima na cabeça e no pescoço, causando-lhe uma hemorragia pondo em perigo a sua vida. Para além disso, o ferido sofreu também a ruptura dos tendões dos antebraços e fraturas do dedo médio esquerdo e do polegar direito. Um dos amigos do ferido tentou imobilizar o agressor mas não conseguiu e ficou ferido na parte lateral do olho, fugiu e pediu à namorada da vítima para chamar a polícia. Os agentes da PSP detiveram, no átrio do edifício, o agressor e o dono da pensão que tentavam fugir, no entanto a namorada do agressor conseguiu escapar à detenção. Os dois detidos foram presentes ao MP por tentativa de homicídio e acolhimento de imigrante ilegal, respectivamente. A PJ continua à procura da mulher em fuga.
