兩內地漢涉高利貸及禁錮被捕

本局接獲舉報指一名女子因欠下賭債被禁錮在氹仔某酒店客房內，隨即派員到場拘捕兩名涉案人，並救出事主。調查發現，事主於4月20日向兩名內地男子的同夥借款五萬港元賭博，條件是簽署借據、先扣起5,000港元作利息、被扣起證件及每當賭局贏出時被抽取投注額之15%作利息。結果事主輸清賭款，共被抽取四萬港元利息，其後被迫令還款及禁錮在上址。本局以剝奪他人行動自由、為賭博的高利貸、文件的索取或接受罪將兩名涉案人移交檢察院處理。

The Judiciary Police received a report from a woman, indicating that she was unlawfully detained in a guest room at a Taipa hotel due to her gambling debt. Officers were immediately dispatched to the scene, two involved men were arrested and the victim was rescued. Investigation found that, on April 20th, the victim borrowed HKD50,000 for gambling from a man who was an accomplice of the two involved mainland men, on conditions of signing an IOU, first withholding HKD5000 as interest, surrendering her identity document and charging 15% of the bet for every winning wager as interest. The victim eventually gambled away the money, and a total of HKD40,000 was withdrawn as interest. Subsequently, she was coerced into repaying the money and detained in the aforementioned location. The Judiciary Police transferred the two involved individuals to the Public Prosecutions Office for the offences of depriving other’s freedom of movement, usury for gambling and demanding or acceptance of documents.

A PJ recebeu a denúncia de uma mulher indicando que por causa de uma dívida, tinha sido sequestrada num quarto de um hotel da Taipa. Os nossos agentes foram imediatamente ao local onde libertaram a vítima e detiveram dois homens da China continental. Apurou-se que a vítima pediu, no dia 20 de Abril, aos cúmplices dos dois detidos, 50 mil HKD para jogar, a condição do empréstimo era assinar um recibo de dívida, um juro antecipado de 5 mil HKD antes de começar o jogo, entregar os documentos de identificação e devolver como juros, 15% do valor de cada aposta ganha. Uma vez que perdeu todo o dinheiro e foi cobrado um total de 40 mil HKD de juro, a vítima foi forçada a devolver o dinheiro e sequestrada. Os dois foram presentes ao MP por sequestro, agiotagem ligada ao jogo, exigência ou aceitação de documentos.
