美國男子涉運毒被捕
本局接獲情報指有國際販毒集團成員從外地販運毒品來澳，經研究和分析後鎖定一名美國男子，隨即到澳門國際機場作出部署，於涉案男子從泰國飛抵本澳時進行截查，即場在其行李箱暗格內檢獲2.1公斤海洛因，市值170萬澳門元。涉案男子承認受一名非洲人士招攬進行販毒，由馬達加斯加經泰國轉機來澳，擬再前赴珠海，事成可獲8,000美元報酬。本局以不法販賣麻醉藥品及精神科藥物罪名將其移交檢察院處理，並繼續追查其他涉案人士。
American man arrested for drug trafficking
The Judiciary Police received intelligence indicating that a member of an international drug trafficking syndicate was smuggling drugs from overseas into Macao. After studying and analyzing, an American man was identified. Deployment was then made at the Macao International Airport, and the involved man was intercepted while he was arriving at Macao from Thailand. 2.1 kilograms of heroin, with a market value of MOP1,700,000, were seized from a concealed compartment of the man’s luggage at the scene. The involved man confessed to being recruited by an African individual to smuggle the drugs. He flew from Madagascar to Thailand and then transited to Macao, and was planning to go to Zhuhai. He was promised a reward of USD8,000 for completing the job. The Judiciary Police transferred him to the Public Prosecutions Office for the offence of illicit trafficking of narcotic and psychotropic substances, and continues to pursue the other involved individuals at large.

A PJ recebeu informações indicando que alguns membros de uma rede de narcotráfico internacional estariam a trazer droga para Macau. Após analisar as informações conseguiu-se identificar um americano como suspeito, os nossos agentes no Aeroporto Internacional de Macau interceptaram-no quando chegou com um voo da Tailândia, assim foram apreendidos, num compartimento secreto da sua bagagem, 2,1 quilos de heroína cujos valor ronda 1,7 milhões de patacas. O homem admitiu ter sido contratado por um africano para trazer a droga, num voo do Madagascar a Tailândia e depois para Macau, depois tentaria chegar a Zhuhai, disse também que se conseguiusse iria receber 8000 USD como recompensa. O detido foi presente ao MP por tráfico de estupefacientes, a PJ continua à procura de eventuais cúmplices.
