本局接獲路氹城某賭場報案，指一名莊荷在工作期間偷取珠盤上3個一萬元籌碼放在掌心，監場發現後立即報警。本局人員接報到場調查，在涉案人的手錶底和儲物櫃搜獲7個1萬元籌碼，其承認自本月初開始先後多次以同一手法共盜取34萬元籌碼。本局以公務之侵佔罪名把其移交檢察院偵辦。
Dealer Arrested for Stealing Chips
The Judiciary Police received a report from a casino in Cotai , stating that a dealer was found stealing three HKD 10,000 chips from the chip tray during work and placed the chips in the palms. The site supervisor discovered the incident and reported to the police immediately. The Judiciary Police officers arrived at the scene to investigate after receiving the report, and found seven HKD 10,000 chips beneath the watch and inside the locker of the involved person. The person admitted that such method had been employed many times from the beginning of this month and chips with a total worth of HKD 340,000 were stolen. The Judiciary Police handed the man involved with the offence of work-related embezzlement to the Public Prosecutions Office for further handling.

A Polícia Judiciária recebeu a denúncia de um dos casinos do Cotai, referindo que um croupier, durante o seu trabalho, furtou 3 fichas de 10.000 HK$ na roleta, guardando-as na sua mão, e foi descoberto pelo fiscalizador que apresentou logo a queixa. Os nosso investigadores deslocaram-se ao local e confiscaram 7 fichas de 10.000 HK$ guardadas por baixo do relógio e no cacifo do suspeito, este confessou ter começado a furtar as fichas no inicio do mês e de ter praticado o furto por várias vezes com o mesmo sistema, num valor total de 340 mil HK$. O suspeito foi presente ao Ministério Público por peculato.
