偵破禁錮導致自殺案 三漢被捕

一名內地女子在路氹城某賭場厠格內自縊身亡，本局接報展開調查，揭發有人曾向事主借款賭博，先後拘捕三名涉案的內地和香港男子。三人供稱曾向事主借款3萬元，期間抽取共1萬元利息，事主輸清款項後，被扣留證件和禁止離開賭場。事主疑因無法籌到金錢還款，趁如廁時上吊自殺。本局以放高利貸、剝奪他人行動自由等罪名將三名涉案男子移交檢察院偵辦，另外正追緝其餘在逃人士。

A Mainland woman hanged herself in a restroom cubicle of a Cotai casino. Having received the report, the Judiciary Police conducted investigations and uncovered that someone had lent money to the victim for gambling. Three men from Mainland and Hong Kong were arrested. They claimed that they had lent HKD$30,000 to the victim and meanwhile, a total of HKD10,000 interest was incurred. After the victim gambled away all the money, her identification documents were seized and she was forbidden to leave the casino. The victim was not able to raise money for the debt repayment and thus committed suicide by hanging herself in the restroom. The Judiciary Police charged the three men with offences of gambling-related usury and deprivation of other’s freedom of movement, and transferred them to the Public Prosecutions Office for handling. Besides, other suspects at large were being pursued.

Uma mulher do continente suicidou-se por enforcamento, na casa de banho dum casino do Cotai. A PJ desencadeou a investigação logo que recebeu a queixa, a falecida terá pedido dinheiro emprestado para jogar, foram detidos três homens envolvidos, provenientes de HK e do continente. Os três confessaram ter concedido um empréstimo de 30 mil HK$ onde o juro, de 10 mil HK$, tinha sido cobrado durante o jogo, a vítima depois de ter perdido todo o dinheiro precisou de entregar os seus documentod de identificação e ainda ficou proibida de sair do casino. Por não conseguir liquidar a dívida, acabou por enforcar-se na casa de banho. Os três envolvidos foram entregues ao MP por usura e sequestro entre outros, a PJ está a tentar localizar outros envolvidos ainda em fuga.
