涉8宗爆竊案嫌犯落網

本局於去年3月至本年3月期間接到多宗以撬門方式作案的住宅盜竊案，遂展開調查部署及搜證，鎖定目標人物，於3月27日拘捕一名本澳無業男子，並於其住所內起獲作案工具的鐵筆和懷疑是作案時所穿的衣物和手套，以及一條懷疑是賊贓的金鍊，相信其涉及至少八宗住宅盜竊案，涉及金額99,300元。據查，被捕男子趁居民於上午外出等無人在家的時段以鐵筆撬門方式作案，盜竊所得的現金和首飾等財物都帶到內地變賣。本局以加重盜竊罪名將其移交檢察院處理。
Suspect nabbed for involvement in 8 burglaries
The Judiciary Police received many residential burglary case reports committed by prying the doors open, between March of last year and this year. The Judiciary Police then carried out investigation and evidence collection, and identified the target suspect. A jobless local man was arrested on March 27th. The pry bar used as the crime tool, the suspected clothes and gloves worn by the perpetrator while committing the crime, and the gold chain suspected to a stolen item were seized from the man’s residence. It was believed that he was involved in at least eight cases of residential burglary, and a total amount of $99,300 was involved. According to investigations, the arrested man committed the crime by jimmying the doors with a pry bar at the time while residents went out in the morning and nobody was in. The stolen cash, jewelleries and other valuables were brought to Mainland for selling off. The Judiciary Police charged the man with aggravated larceny and referred him to the Public Prosecutions Office for handling.
