Judiciary Police holds 2025 “Judiciary Police Day”

The 2025 “Judiciary Police Day” was held on July 11^th. The award ceremony held in the morning, upon invitation, was officiated by Secretary for Security WONG Sio Chak, Prosecutor General CHAN Tsz King of the Public Prosecutions Office, Director of the Police Liaison Department WANG Qianjin of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in Macao, Commissioner General LEONG Man Cheong of the Unitary Police Service, President Leonel ALVES of the Macao Public Security Forces Disciplinary Commission together with Director SIT Chong Meng of the Judiciary Police, while attended by guests, such as Chief of Office CHANG Cheong of the Secretariat for Security, Chief of Office LAM In Sang of the Prosecutor General of Public Prosecutions Office, Assistant to Commissioner General of the Unitary Police Service Luís LEONG of the Unitary Police Service, etc. Director SIT Chong Meng summed up the situation and achievement of the Judiciary Police's work in upholding the national security, prevention and combat of irregularities and crimes, as well as advancement of community policing in the past year. This year, the Exceptional Merit Award was conferred to a total of 14 staff members, four of whom were exempted from publishing their identities in accordance with the law. In addition, the Individual Commendation Award was conferred to 113 staff members while the Group Commendation Award was conferred to 10 investigation groups, 8 task forces and relevant teams participating in the major security tasks of the celebration of the 25^th Anniversary of the Return of Macao to the Motherland and the 6^th Ministerial Conference of the Sino-Portuguese Forum, as well as relevant tasks of the 2025 “National Security Education Exhibition”.

The Judiciary Police Day Gala Dinner held in the same evening, upon invitation, was attended by Secretary for Security WONG Sio Chak, President KOU Hoi In of the Legislative Assembly, Prosecutor General CHAN Tsz King of the Public Prosecutions Office, Commissioner Against Corruption AO IEONG Seong of the Commission Against Corruption, Commissioner General LEONG Man Cheong of the Unitary Police Service, Director General Adriano Marques HO of the Macao Customs Service, Director WANG Qianjin of the Police Liaison Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in Macao, Director LIU Yu of the Public Relations Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in Macao, Commissioner SUN Xiangyang of the Commissioner's Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Macao, Chief of Staff SHAO Chungui of the People's Liberation Army Macao Garrison, representatives from the police forces of the Mainland, Hong Kong and Singapore, members of the Macao Executive Council and Legislative Assembly, judicial officials, President Leonel ALVES and commissioners of the Disciplinary Commission, Macao SAR government officials, representatives from community organisations, representatives from “Friends of Crime Prevention in Residential Buildings” and “Friends of Crime Prevention for Women” of the Judiciary Police, as well as representatives from local media and foreign news agencies stationed in Macao, etc. During the banquet, the video “Judiciary Police in operation 2025” was premiered, staff members of the Judiciary Police, colleagues from various departments in the security field, as well as trainees of Youth Leaders for Community Safety and Junior Anti-Crime Pioneer jointly staged a number of performances in a heartwarming atmosphere.

Celebrações do “Dia da Polícia Judiciária” 2025

O Dia da PJ do ano 2025 foi assinalado no dia 11 de Julho. Na parte da manhã, decorreu a Cerimónia de Entrega de Prémios e, para presidir a essa cerimónia, estiveram como convidados de honra, o Secretário para a Segurança WONG Sio Chak, o Procurador do Ministério Público CHAN Tsz King, o Director dos Serviços de Ligação para os Assuntos Policiais do Gabinete de Ligação do Governo Popular Central na RAEM WANG Qiangjin, o Comandante-geral dos Serviços de Polícia Unitários LEONG Man Cheong, o Presidente da Comissão de Fiscalização da Disciplina das Forças e Serviços de Segurança Leonel Alberto ALVES, juntamente com o Director da PJ SIT Chong Meng. Também estiveram presentes no evento o Chefe do Gabinete do Secretário para a Segurança CHANG Cheong, o Chefe do Gabinete do Procurador LAM In Sang e o Adjunto do Comandante-geral dos SPU Luis LEONG. O Director da PJ, SIT Chong Meng, no seu discurso efectuou o balanço do trabalho desenvolvido e dos resultados alcançados no último ano, no âmbito da defesa da segurança nacional, do combate às violações da lei e aos crimes e do impulsionamento do policiamento de proximidade. Este ano, foram entregues menções de mérito excepcional a 14 funcionários, tendo sido dispensada, nos termos legais, a publicação da identificação de 4 deles. Foram também entregues louvores individuais a 113 funcionários, e foram concedidos louvores colectivos a 10 equipas de investigação criminal, a 8 equipas de trabalho e ao grupo de pessoal que trabalhou na segurança na cerimónia do 25.º aniversário do retorno de Macau à Pátria, na VI Conferência Ministerial do Fórum de Macau e na “Exposição sobre a Educação da Segurança Nacional” de 2025.

Nessa noite, teve lugar o jantar comemorativo. A convite, marcaram presença o Secretário para a Segurança WONG Sio Chak, o Presidente da Assembleia Legislativa KOU Hoi In, o Procurador do Ministério Público CHAN Tsz King, a Comissária do Comissariado contra a Corrupção AO IEONG Seong, o Comandante-geral dos Serviços de Polícia Unitários LEONG Man Cheong, o Director-geral dos Serviços de Alfândega Adriano Marques HO, o Director dos Serviços de Ligação para os Assuntos Policiais do Gabinete de Ligação do Governo Popular Central na RAEM WANG Qianjin, o Director do Departamento de Relações Públicas do Gabinete de Ligação do Governo Popular Central na RAEM LIU Yu, o Subcomissário do Comissariado do Ministério dos Negócios Estrangeiros da RPC na RAEM SUN Xiangyang e o Chefe do Estado-Maior da Guarnição em Macau do Exército de Libertação do Povo Chinês SHAO Chungui, bem como os representantes dos serviços congéneres da China continental, Hong Kong e Singapura, membros do Conselho Executivo, deputados à Assembleia Legislativa, magistrados e o Presidente da Comissão de Fiscalização da Disciplina das Forças e Serviços de Segurança Leonel Alberto ALVES e outros membros, membros dos serviços governamentais da RAEM, representantes das associações, dos grupos “Amigos da Prevenção Criminal na Área da Habitação” e “Amigos da Prevenção Criminal para Mulheres”, representantes dos média locais e dos órgãos de comunicação social estrangeiros em Macau. No jantar foi exibido pela primeira vez o vídeo intitulado “A PJ em acção” e organizaram-se várias actuações do pessoal da PJ com os colegas dos outros serviços da área de segurança e os participantes do projecto “Líder juvenil da segurança comunitária” e do projecto “Guia juvenil para combater o crime”. Foi uma festa muito animada.
