Judiciary Police holds 2024 “Judiciary Police Day”

The activities for the 2024“Judiciary Police Day” were held on July 5th. The award ceremony held in the morning, upon invitation, was officiated by Secretary for Security WONG Sio Chak, Prosecutor General IP Son Sang of the Public Prosecutions Office, Deputy Director of the Police Liaison Department WANG Qianjin of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in Macao, Commissioner General LEONG Man Cheong of the Unitary Police Service and Committee Member TSUI Wai Kwan of the Disciplinary Commission, while attended by guests, such as Chief of Office CHEONG Ioc Ieng of the Secretariat for Security, Chief of Office TAM Peng Tong of the Prosecutor General of Public Prosecutions Office, Assistant to Commissioner General of the Unitary Police Service Luís LEONG of the Unitary Police Service, Head of Division ZHANG Yu of the Police Liaison Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in Macao, etc. Director SIT Chong Meng delivered a speech at the award ceremony, while summing up the situation and achievement of the Judiciary Police's work in upholding the national security, prevention and combat of various crimes, as well as advancement of community policing. This year, the Exceptional Merit Award was conferred to a total of 18 staff members, two of whom were exempted from publishing their identities in accordance with the law. In addition, the Individual Commendation Award was conferred to 125 staff members while the Group Commendation Award was conferred to eight investigation groups, six task forces and relevant teams participating in the 2024 “National Security Education Exhibition”.

The Judiciary Police Day Gala Dinner held in the same evening, upon invitation, was attended by Secretary for Security WONG Sio Chak, President KOU Hoi In of the Legislative Assembly, Prosecutor General IP Son Sang of the Public Prosecutions Office, Commissioner General LEONG Man Cheong of the Unitary Police Service, Director General VONG Man Chong of the Macao Customs Service, Director WANG Zhigang of the Southern Research Institute of the Chinese Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Commander DAI Jinsong of the People's Liberation Army Macao Garrison, Deputy Director WANG Qianjin of the Police Liaison Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in Macao, Chief FU Aimin of the Commissioner's Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Macao, representatives from the police forces of the Mainland, Hong Kong and Singapore, members of the Macao Executive Council and Legislative Assembly, judicial officials, members of the Disciplinary Commission, Macao SAR government officials, representatives from community organisations, representatives from“Friends of Crime Prevention in Residential Buildings”and “Friends of Crime Prevention for Women”of the Judiciary Police, as well as representatives from local media and foreign news agencies stationed in Macao, etc. During the banquet, staff members of the Judiciary Police, colleagues from various departments in the security field, as well as trainees of Youth Leaders for Community Safety and Junior Anti-Crime Pioneer jointly staged a number of performances in a heartwarming atmosphere.

Celebrações do “Dia da Polícia Judiciária” 2024

As actividades do Dia da PJ realizaram-se em 5 de Julho de 2024. De manhã, decorreu a Cerimónia de Entrega de Prémios e, para a ocasião, estiveram como convidados de honra, o Secretário para a Segurança, WONG Sio Chak, o Procurador do Ministério Público, IP Son Sang, o Subdirector dos Serviços de Ligação para os Assuntos Policiais do Gabinete de Ligação do Governo Popular Central na RAEM, WANG Qiangjin, o Comandante-geral dos Serviços de Polícia Unitários, LEONG Man Cheong, o membro da Comissão de Fiscalização da Disciplina das Forças e Serviços de Segurança, TSUI Wai Kwan. Também estiveram presentes no evento a Chefe do Gabinete do Secretário para a Segurança, CHEONG Ioc Ieng, o Chefe do Gabinete do Procurador, TAM Peng Tong, o Adjunto do Comandante-geral dos SPU, Luis LEONG, e o Chefe de Divisão dos Serviços de Ligação para os Assuntos Policiais do Gabinete de Ligação do Governo Popular Central na RAEM, ZHANG Yu. Na ocasião, o Director da PJ, SIT Chong Meng, proferiu o discurso e efectuou o balanço do trabalho desenvolvido e dos resultados alcançados no âmbito da defesa da segurança nacional, da prevenção e do combate ao crime e do impulsionamento do policiamento de proximidade. Este ano, foram entregues menções de mérito excepcional a 18 funcionários, tendo sido dispensada, nos termos legais, a publicação da identificação de 2 deles, por outro lado, foram entregues louvores individuais a 125 funcionários, e foram concedidos louvores colectivos a 8 equipas de investigação criminal, a 6 equipas de trabalho e à equipa de trabalho que participou na “Exposição sobre a Educação da Segurança Nacional” de 2024.

Nessa noite, teve lugar o jantar comemorativo. A convite, marcaram presença o Secretário para a Segurança, WONG Sio Chak, o Presidente da Assembleia Legislativa, KOU Hoi In, o Procurador do Ministério Público, IP Son Sang, o Comandante-geral dos Serviços de Polícia Unitários, LEONG Man Cheong, o Director-Geral dos Serviços de Alfândega, VONG Man Chong, o Director do Southern Research Institute do Ministério de Segurança Pública do Estado, WANG Zhigang, o Vice-Comandante da Guarnição em Macau do Exército de Libertação do Povo Chinês, DAI Jinsong, o Subdirector dos Serviços de Ligação para os Assuntos Policiais do Gabinete de Ligação do Governo Popular Central na RAEM, WANG Qianjin, o Director do Gabinete do Comissário do Comissariado do Ministério dos Negócios Estrangeiros da RPC na RAEM, FU Aimin, bem como representes dos serviços congéneres da China continental, Hong Kong e Singapura, membros do Conselho Executivo, deputados à Assembleia Legislativa, magistrados e membros da Comissão de Fiscalização da Disciplina das Forças e Serviços de Segurança, membros dos serviços governamentais, representantes das associações, dos grupos “Amigos da Prevenção Criminal na Área da Habitação” e “Amigos da Prevenção Criminal para Mulheres” e dos órgãos de comunicação social. Durante o evento, alguns funcionários da PJ colegas dos serviços da área da segurança, os participantes dos projectos “Líder Juvenil da Segurança Comunitária” e “Guia Juvenil para Combater o Crime” actuaram-se em vários programas, tudo decorreu numa atmosfera animada.
