兩內地漢涉不法經營線上博彩被拘
2026年9月20日晚，本局博彩罪案調查處接獲情報，指有人在新口岸區一娛樂場內進行俗稱“電投”的不法經營線上博彩活動，遂派員前往現場調查，截獲兩名涉案內地男子，並在兩人身上檢獲2件經改裝的外套、4部手機、2個藍牙接收器、32顆微型電池、369,150港元籌碼以及5,700港元現金。經查，當晚首名涉案男子將次名涉案男子交付的32萬港元現金兌成籌碼後，將一部已連接微型鏡頭的手機藏在外套內，透過外套上的小孔偷拍賭博過程並經通訊軟件向客人直播，同時以藍牙耳機接收對方的指示進行投注。
本局根據調查所得，以不法經營線上幸運博彩或線上互相博彩罪將兩名涉案男子移送檢察院偵辦，並繼續追緝其餘在逃涉案人。
Two mainland men arrested for illegal operation of online gaming
On the night of 20th September 2026, the Gaming-related Crimes Division of the Judiciary Police was tipped off that someone was operating illegal online gaming activities, commonly known as “e-betting”, inside a casino in ZAPE district. As such, officers were dispatched to the scene for investigation. Two involved mainland men were intercepted, with two modified jackets, four mobile phones, two Bluetooth receivers, thirty-two micro batteries, HKD369,150 in chips and HKD5,700 in cash seized from them. Investigation revealed that the first involved man had exchanged HKD320,000 of cash, which were passed on to him by the second involved man, to chips that night. He concealed a mobile phone, with a mini camera connected to it, inside his jacket. Through a tiny hole on the jacket, he secretly live-streamed the gambling process to patrons via communications app, and placed bets according to their instructions through the Bluetooth earphones simultaneously.
Based on investigative results, the Judiciary Police transferred the two involved men to the Public Prosecutions Office with the charge of illegal operation of online games of fortune or online mutual gaming, while continuing to pursue the remaining involved persons at large.
