- Three mainland men apprehended for robbery
三內地漢涉搶劫就逮
2026年9月7日晚，事主應邀跟隨兩名在逃涉案人前往新口岸區一酒店房間進行不法匯兌，抵達時發現三名涉案內地男子已在房間內等候。事主與首名在逃涉案人商談兌換條件期間，對方突然揮手示意，眾人即一湧而上將事主制伏。首名在逃涉案人掠去事主腰包內的14萬港元現金後，連同次名在逃涉案人及首名涉案內地男子迅速逃去，次名及第三名涉案內地男子則被事主扯住而未能逃脫。事件驚動酒店保安員到場並協助報警，案件由治安警察局轉交本局第四統籌科跟進。
本局人員經調查後鎖定涉案人士身份，於翌日凌晨在路氹城區一酒店內緝獲首名涉案內地男子。
本局根據調查所得，以搶劫罪將三名涉案內地男子移送檢察院偵辦，並繼續追查在逃涉案人及贓款下落，以及就案中有人從事不法匯兌活動另立案卷調查。
Three mainland men apprehended for robbery
On the night of 7th September 2026, the victim followed the 2 involved persons at large to conduct illegal currency exchange in a hotel room in the ZAPE district as per their request. Upon arrival, the victim found that the 3 involved mainland men had already been waiting in the room. While the victim was discussing the exchange conditions with the first involved person at large, the opposite party suddenly waved his hand to signal others, who swarmed forward to subdue the victim. After the first involved person in large had snatched away cash of HKD140,000 from the victim’s waist pack, he fled swiftly with the second involved person at large and the first involved mainland man, while the second and the third involved mainland men were grasped by the victim and could not escape. The incident alerted the security guards of the hotel, who arrived at the scene and assisted in reporting to the police. The case was transferred by the Public Security Police Force to the 4th Section of Coordination of the Judiciary Police for follow-up.
Upon investigation, personnel of the Judiciary Police identified the involved persons, with the first involved mainland man intercepted in a hotel in the Cotai district on the next morning.
Based on investigative results, the Judiciary Police transferred the 3 involved mainland men to the Public Prosecutions Office for the offence of robbery, while continuing to pursue the whereabouts of the involved persons at large and the illicit proceeds. In addition, a separate case file was opened to investigate individuals suspected of engaging in illegal currency exchange activities in this case.
