涉不法經營線上博彩 兩內地漢被拘
2026年9月3日，本局博彩罪案調查處接獲路氹城區一娛樂場通知，稱截獲兩名在場內進行俗稱“電投”的不法經營線上博彩犯罪活動的內地男子，隨即派員到場調查。
經查，本局人員於兩名涉案內地男子身上及租住的酒店房間內檢獲4件經改裝的衣服、4部手機、1部藍牙耳機接收器連1對耳機、2張會員卡、43萬港元現金以及209,300港元籌碼，並查知兩人於2026年9月2日晚進入娛樂場作案，其中一人將手機藏在身穿的外套內，透過外套上的小孔偷拍賭博過程並經通訊軟件向客人直播，同時以藍牙耳機接收對方的指示進行投注，過程中獲得會員卡佣金回贈共10,260港元；而另一人則從旁監視並提供賭博資金。
本局根據調查所得，以不法經營線上幸運博彩或線上互相博彩罪將兩名涉案男子移送檢察院偵辦。
Two mainland men arrested for illegal operation of online gambling
On 3rd September 2026, the Gaming-related Crimes Division of the Judiciary Police received a notification from a casino in Cotai district, stating that two mainland men had been intercepted for conducting illegal operation of online gaming activities, commonly known as “electronic betting”. Officers were immediately dispatched to the scene for investigation.
After investigation, the officers of the Judiciary Police seized 4 modified pieces of clothing, 4 mobile phones, 1 Bluetooth earpiece receiver and 1 pair of earphones, 2 membership cards, HKD430,000 in cash and HKD209,300 in chips from the two involved mainland men and the hotel room they rented. It was also found that the duo entered the casino to commit the crime on the evening of 2nd September 2026. One of them concealed a mobile phone in a jacket he was wearing, secretly filming the gambling process through a small hole on the jacket and broadcasting it live to patrons via a communication app. Meanwhile, he received instructions from the other party via the Bluetooth earphones to place bets, earning a total of HKD10,260 in membership card commissions. The other person, on other hand, monitored on the side and provided gambling funds.
Based on investigative findings, the Judiciary Police transferred the two involved men to the Public Prosecutions Office for the offence of illegal operation of online games of fortune or online mutual gaming.
