四內地男女涉不法匯兌被拘
2026年7月22日，本局有組織罪案調查處接獲檢察院要求，就一名內地男子在本澳從事不法匯兌活動進行調查。9月2日中午，本局人員接報上述涉案男子正身處路氹城區一酒店房間內，隨即派員前往調查，成功截獲該名男子及其兩男一女內地同黨，在四人身上檢獲與犯罪有關的18.3萬港元現金、6萬港元籌碼及4部手機，並查悉四人自2024年1月起在本澳從事不法匯兌活動。
本局根據調查所得，以經營為賭博的不法匯兌罪將四名涉案男女移送檢察院偵辦，並就案中有人涉及逾期逗留、收留非法入境或非法逗留的人罪另立案卷調查。
Four mainlanders arrested for illegal currency exchange
On 22nd July 2026, the Organized Crime Division of the Judiciary Police was requested by the Public Prosecutions Office to investigate a mainland man’s engagement in illegal currency exchange activities in Macao. At noon on September 2nd, personnel of the Judiciary Police received a report that the aforementioned involved man was in a hotel room in the Cotai district at that time, thus immediately dispatched personnel to investigate and successfully intercepted the man and his two male and one female mainland accomplices, seizing the crime-related HKD 183,000 in cash, HKD 60,000 of casino chips and 4 mobile phones on them. It was also revealed that the quartet had been engaging in illegal currency exchange activities in Macao since January 2024.
Based on investigative findings, the Judiciary Police transferred the four involved individuals to the Public Prosecutions Office for the offence of operating illegal currency exchange for gambling, while opening a separate case file for the investigation of someone’s involvement in overstaying, sheltering illegal immigrants or illegal stayers in the case.
Detidas quatro pessoas do Interior da China por câmbio ilícito
Em 22 de Julho de 2026, a Divisão de Investigação e Combate ao Banditismo da PJ recebeu um pedido do Ministério Público para proceder à investigação de um caso de exploração de câmbio ilícito por um homem do continente em Macau. Ao meio-dia de 2 de Setembro, o nosso pessoal recebeu informações de que o suspeito estava num quarto de um hotel na zona de Cotai, e logo se deslocou ao local onde aí conseguiu interceptar o suspeito e seus cúmplices (dois homens e uma mulher) todos do continente. Na posse deles foram encontrados 183 mil HKD em numerário, fichas no valor de 60 mil HKD e 4 telemóveis. Foi apurado ainda que eles exploravam câmbio ilícito em Macau desde Janeiro de 2024.
Com base nos resultados obtidos na investigação, os quatros detidos foram presentes ao Ministério Público acusados de exploração de câmbio ilícito para jogo, tendo sido ainda instaurado outro processo para investigar o seu envolvimento em situação de excesso de permanência e acolhimento de pessoas em situação de imigração ilegal.
