偵破不法經營線上博彩案 一內地漢就逮
2026年8月25日，本局博彩罪案調查處接獲情報指有人在新口岸區一娛樂場內進行俗稱“電投”的不法經營線上幸運博彩犯罪活動，經調查後截獲一名涉案內地男子。
案情顯示，涉案男子於當晚賭博期間，將手機藏在身穿外套的胸口位置，並透過外套上的小孔對準直播百家樂機進行偷拍，經通訊軟件向客人直播賭博過程，同時以藍牙耳機接收對方的指示進行投注。經查，本局人員在涉案男子身上檢獲1件經改裝的外套、2部手機、1副藍牙微型耳機、1個藍牙耳機接收器、1張積分卡，以及1張面值11,910港元的角子機現金券。
本局根據調查所得，以不法經營線上幸運博彩或線上互相博彩罪將涉案男子移送檢察院偵辦。
Illegal operation of online gaming case cracked with a Mainland man arrested
On 25th August 2026, the Gaming-related Crimes Division of the Judiciary Police received intelligence, indicating that someone had been engaging in illegal operation of online games of fortune criminal activities (so-called “proxy betting”) in a casino in ZAPE district. An involved Mainland man was intercepted after investigation.
Investigation revealed that during the gambling session on that night, the involved Mainland man concealed his mobile phone in the chest area of the jacket he was wearing. Through a small hole in the jacket, he aimed the mobile phone at the live baccarat machine to surreptitiously film the game. He then live-streamed the gambling process to his client via a messaging app, while simultaneously receiving instructions from the client for placing bets through a Bluetooth earpiece. Upon investigation, the Judiciary Police personnel seized from him a modified jacket, 2 mobile phones, 1 pair of miniature Bluetooth earphones, 1 Bluetooth earphone receiver, 1 membership points card, and 1 slot machine cash voucher with a face value of HKD11,910.
Based on investigative findings, the Judiciary Police transferred the involved Mainland man to the Public Prosecutions Office for the offence of illegal operation of online games of fortune or online mutual gaming.
