內地男女涉不法經營線上博彩被捕
本局早前接獲線報，指有人在中區一娛樂場進行俗稱“電投”的不法經營線上幸運博彩活動。經調查後，於2026年7月25日晚上，本局人員在該娛樂場截獲涉案內地男女，並將其帶返本局調查。
調查顯示，涉案內地男子於同日晚上到達上述娛樂場會合涉案內地女子，並從對方接過預先改裝的服飾及流動電話等裝備。該名男子穿戴裝備後，在涉案女子陪同下於場內進行直播及投注。博彩期間，涉案男子利用衣服穿孔及內藏的流動電話鏡頭對準賭枱進行拍攝，涉案女子則在旁使用手機及指示對方下注。本局人員隨即對二人進行截查。
經博彩罪案調查處調查，涉案內地男女為收取報酬，替身處內地的賭客進行投注。本局人員在涉案男子身上搜獲一件改裝服飾、兩部流動電話、5,005港元角子機現金券、一部藍牙耳機接收器及一枝磁吸棒；另在涉案女子身上及攜帶的環保袋內，搜獲兩部流動電話、9.4萬港元現金、四張共1.9萬港元角子機現金券、一件改裝服飾、一部藍牙耳機接收器連耳機及電池等用於直播拍攝及接收指示的工具。
本局綜合調查所得，以不法經營線上幸運博彩或線上互相博彩罪，將兩名涉案內地男女移送檢察院偵辦。
Mainlanders arrested for illicit operation of online gaming
The Judiciary Police received a tip-off earlier on, indicating that someone was engaging in the so-called “electronic betting” illegal operation of online games of fortune activities in a casino in the Central district. After investigation, the involved mainland man and woman were intercepted in the said casino on the night of 25th July 2026 and were brought back to the Judiciary Police for investigation.
Investigation revealed that the involved mainland man arrived at the aforementioned casino on the night of that day to meet the involved mainland woman and to receive the outfit modified in advance and equipment such as mobile phone from her. The man put on the equipment then conducted live streaming and betting in the casino under the company of the involved woman. In the course of gaming, the involved man conducted filming by aiming the camera lens of the concealed mobile phone at the gaming table through the pinhole on the outfit, while the woman used her mobile phone on the side and instructed him to place bets. Personnel of the Judiciary Police immediately intercepted the duo.
Investigation by personnel of the Gaming-related Crimes Division revealed that the involved man and woman placed bets for patrons in the mainland in order to gain a reward. Personnel of the Judiciary Police found a modified outfit, two mobile phones, HKD 5,005 of slot machine cash coupons, a Bluetooth earphone receiver and a magnetic stick on the involved man; while on the body of the involved woman and in the reusable bag she was carrying, two mobile phones, HKD 94,000 in cash, four slot machine cash coupons of a total value of HKD 19,000, a modified outfit, tools used for live-streaming filming and for receiving instructions such as a Bluetooth earphone receiver with earphone and battery were found.
The Judiciary Police integrated the investigative findings and transferred the involved mainland man and woman to the Public Prosecutions Office for the offence of illegal operation of online games of fortune or online mutual gaming.
Detido um casal do Interior da China por exploração ilícita de jogo de fortuna ou azar online
A PJ recebeu informações indicando haver exploração das actividades ilícitas de jogo de fortuna ou azar online num casino da zona central. Após investigação, na noite de 25 de Julho de 2026, o pessoal da PJ interceptou um casal do Interior da China nesse casino e levou-os à PJ para averiguação.
Segundo as investigações, apurou-se que o homem do Interior da China chegou a esse casino nessa noite e reuniu-se com uma mulher também do Interior da China. O suspeito recebeu uma roupa com modificações e telemóvel. Depois de vestir a roupa, o suspeito, acompanhado pela suspeita, realizou transmissões em directo de apostas dentro do casino. Durante as apostas, o suspeito usou a câmara do telemóvel escondida na roupa para filmar a mesa de jogo, enquanto a suspeita, ao seu lado, usava o telemóvel para lhe ordenar a fazer apostas. O pessoal da PJ interceptou logo de imediato os dois para averiguação.
Na investigação, a Divisão de Investigação de Crimes relacionados com o Jogo verificou que o casal ajudava os clientes no Interior da China a fazer apostas recebendo recompensas por isso. Foi encontrado na posse do suspeito uma roupa com modificações, dois telemóveis, cupões de slot machine no valor de 5.005 HKD, um fone de ouvido bluetooth e uma vareta magnética; na posse e no saco da suspeita encontrou-se dois telemóveis, 94.000 HKD em numerário, 4 cupões de slot machine no valor total de 19.000 HKD, uma roupa com modificações, um fone de ouvido bluetooth e uma bateria, equipamentos que serviram para fazer as transmissões em directo e receber as instruções de apostas.
Com base no que foi apurado na investigação, os dois detidos foram presentes ao Ministério Público por exploração ilícita de jogo de fortuna ou azar online ou de aposta mútua online.
