兩內地男子涉巨額詐騙被拘
2026年6月28日，本局接獲治安警察局轉交一宗詐騙案。氹仔區一押店代表報稱，該店日前被人以贗品手錶典當騙取10萬港元，其後發現同一團夥企圖以同款贗品手錶再次犯案，遂報警求助。
本局經濟罪案調查處跟進調查，查悉第一名涉案內地男子於2026年6月22日獨自前往該押店，將一枚外觀像某名貴品牌的手錶交予店員要求典當。店員經初步檢查後誤判為正貨，該男子遂成功以該贗品手錶獲取典當款10萬港元。
2026年6月28日，店員進行詳細覆檢時，發現該手錶實為價值不足千元的贗品，遂通知負責人並準備報案。當日晚上約10時，該名涉案內地男子帶同第二名涉案內地男子再次到該押店，第二名涉案內地男子同樣將一枚外觀像某名貴品牌的手錶交予店員要求典當。恰巧由同一店員接待，該店員加倍留意並仔細檢查，發現該手錶與日前涉案手錶款式相同，且同樣為贗品，故即時報警。
經本局委託鑑定專家對兩枚涉案手錶進行檢驗，證實其質量、工藝及配件均與正貨存在明顯差異，確認為贗品。經調查，第一名涉案內地男子於6月22日成功以贗品手錶騙取10萬港元後，隨即前往娛樂場賭博並輸光款項。本局人員在兩名男子身上搜獲三部手機及2,400港元現金。
本局根據調查所得，以詐騙（巨額）罪將兩名涉案男子移送檢察院偵辦。
Two mainland men arrested for massive fraud
On 28th June 2026, the Public Security Police Force referred a fraud case to the Judiciary Police. A representative of a pawn shop in Taipa reported that the shop had been defrauded of HK$100,000 by someone pawning a counterfeit watch. They later discovered that the same gang was attempting to commit the crime again with the same kind of counterfeit watch, thus they made a report to the police.
The Economic Crimes Division of the Judiciary Police followed up with the investigation, and found that the first involved mainland man went to the pawn shop alone on 22nd June 2026, and handed a watch that appeared to be from a luxury brand to the shop assistant to pawn. After preliminary inspection, the shop assistant mistakenly judged it to be genuine, and the man successfully obtained HKD100,000 from the pawn of the counterfeit watch.
On 28th June 2026, during a thorough re-examination, the shop assistant discovered that the watch was a counterfeit worth less than HKD1,000. The assistant then notified the manager and prepared to report the incident to the police. That evening, at around 10pm, the involved mainland man returned to the pawn shop with the second involved mainland man. Similarly, the second man handed over a watch that resembled a luxury brand to the shop assistant, requesting to pawn it. Coincidentally, the same shop assistant served them, who paid extra attention and carefully examined the watch, discovering that it was the same model as the watch involved previously and also a counterfeit. The assistant immediately called the police.
Forensic experts commissioned by the Judiciary Police examined the two involved watches and confirmed that their quality, craftsmanship, and accessories differed significantly from the genuine product, confirming them as counterfeit. Investigation revealed that after using the counterfeit watch to defraud HKD100,000 successfully on June 22nd , the first involved mainland man went to the casino and gambled away the entire amount immediately. The personnel of the Judiciary Police seized three mobile phones and HKD 2,400 in cash from both men.
Based on investigative findings, the Judiciary Police transferred the two involved men to the Public Prosecutions Office with the offence of massive fraud.
Detidos dois homens do continente por burla de valor elevado
No dia 28 de Junho de 2026, a PJ recebeu um caso de burla transferido pelo CPSP. Segundo o representante de uma casa de penhores na Taipa, há dias um indivíduo tinha penhorado um relógio (falso) em troco de 100.000 HKD. Posteriormente, descobriu que o mesmo grupo estava a tentar cometer o mesmo crime, penhorar um relógio falso e fez logo queixa na polícia.
A Divisão de Investigação de Crimes Económicos da PJ acompanhou a investigação, tendo apurado que, em 22 de Junho de 2026, o primeiro suspeito do continente deslocou-se sozinho à casa de penhores e entregou ao funcionário um relógio, igual a uma determinada marca de luxo, para penhorar. Após uma inspecção preliminar, o funcionário identificou erradamente o relógio como autêntico, e o homem conseguiu obter 100.000 HKD com a venda do mesmo.
Em 28 de Junho de 2026, o funcionário fez uma inspecção minuciosa ao relógio e verificou que era falso com um valor inferior a mil, pelo que comunicou logo ao responsável e preparado para apresentar uma queixa. Cerca das 22H00 desse dia, esse suspeito do continente regressou à casa de penhores acompanhado pelo segundo suspeito do continente. Esse entregou ao funcionário um relógio, com o aspecto de uma marca de luxo e pediu para o penhorar. Por coincidência, foi o mesmo funcionário que os atendeu. Este, prestou mais atenção e examinou cuidadosamente o relógio, descobrindo que se tratava do mesmo modelo do relógio do caso anterior e que também era falso. Por isso, o funcionário fez uma denúncia imediatamente a polícia.
Após a examinação do perito solicitado pela PJ, houve confirmação de diferenças notórias na qualidade, acabamento e acessórios, em relação aos relógios genuínos, confirmando que estes eram falsos. A investigação revelou que o primeiro suspeito do continente burlou no dia 22 de Junho, o valor de 100.000 HKD, utilizando um relógio falso e posteriormente perdeu tudo no jogo. Os agentes da PJ apreenderam três telemóveis e 2.400 HKD em dinheiro na posse dos dois homens.
Conforme o que foi apurado na investigação, os dois homens foram presentes ao Ministério Público por burla (valor elevado).
