內地男子涉加重盜竊及相當巨額詐騙被拘
2026年4月27日，本局接獲治安警察局轉交一宗發生於路氹一酒店的加重盜竊案。一名內地男子報稱，於2026年4月26日在上述酒店房間內，被同場另一名涉案內地男子盜去價值8.5萬港元籌碼、5,000港元現金，以及一隻價值50萬港元的手錶。
案情顯示，兩人為朋友關係，相約來澳旅遊及賭博，並同住一酒店。案發當日凌晨，兩人在中區一食店用膳及飲酒，事主因不勝酒力，由涉案內地男子陪同返回酒店房間休息。同日上午約9時，事主醒來發現對方已不在房內，經檢查後發現褲袋內合共9萬港元的籌碼及現金，以及手上佩戴的手錶均不翼而飛，因而懷疑對方趁其醉酒盜去上述財物。
本局第二統籌科跟進調查後證實，涉案男子趁事主醉酒盜去上述財物，並將手錶典當所得30萬港元現金，連同盜取的9萬港元，全數用於賭博且輸清。本局人員已於氹仔一押店成功起回涉案手錶。
本局根據調查所得，以加重盜竊罪及相當巨額詐騙罪將涉案內地男子移送檢察院偵辦。
Mainland man apprehended for aggravated theft and fraud of considerably huge amount
On 27th April 2026, the Judiciary Police was referred a case of aggravated theft which took place in a hotel in Cotai by the Public Security Police Force. A mainland man reported that in the abovementioned hotel room on 26th April 2026, another involved mainland man on site had stolen chips of HKD85,000, cash of HKD5,000 and a watch worth HKD500,000 from him.
Case details revealed that the duo, who were friends, had arranged to travel to Macao for gambling together and stayed in the same hotel. On the early morning of the day when the case took place, the duo had dined and drunk alcohol in a restaurant in the Central District. Not good at drinking, the drunk victim was accompanied by the involved mainland man to return to the hotel room for a rest. When the victim woke up at around 9 a.m. on the same day, the opposite party was not in the room. After inspection, he found that the chips and cash totalling HKD90,000 placed in his pants pocket and the watch he was wearing had disappeared, and thus suspected that the opposite party had taken advantage of his drunkenness to steal the abovementioned property.
Upon follow-up investigation, the Second Section of Coordination of the Judiciary Police confirmed that the involved man had stolen the abovementioned property when the victim was drunk, and had gambled away cash of HKD300,000 obtained from pawning the watch and the HKD90,000 stolen from the victim. Personnel of the Judiciary Police retrieved the involved watch successfully at a pawn shop in Taipa.
Based on the investigative results, the Judiciary Police transferred the involved mainland man to the Public Prosecutions Office for the offences of aggravated theft and fraud of considerably huge amount.
