一內地女子涉不法匯兌被捕
本局博彩罪案調查處人員於2026年4月21日在路氹區一娛樂場進行針對不法匯兌的巡查行動，其間發現涉案內地女子與一位客人以4萬港元籌碼兌換35,200元人民幣，遂截查兩人並帶返本局調查。
經調查發現，同日該名涉案內地女子亦曾與另一位客人以8,950元人民幣兌換1萬港元現金籌碼。其後，本局人員在場內尋回該名客人並帶返局內調查。
調查顯示，涉案內地女子自2025年4月初起在本澳娛樂場內經營不法匯兌，每兌換1萬港元獲利約150港元，至今共獲利約3萬港元，從其身上搜獲的243,500港元現金籌碼為不法匯兌資金。
本局根據調查所得，以經營為賭博的不法匯兌罪將涉案內地女子移送檢察院偵辦。
Mainland woman apprehended for illegal currency exchange
While conducting a patrol operation targeting illegal currency exchange in a casino in the Cotai District on 21st April 2026, personnel of the Gaming-related Crimes Division of the Judiciary Police found that the involved mainland woman was exchanging chips of HKD40,000 for RMB35,200 with a patron, they thus intercepted the duo and brought them back to the Judiciary Police for investigation.
Upon investigation, the involved mainland woman was found to have exchanged chips of HKD10,000 for RMB8,950 with another patron on the same day. After that, personnel of the Judiciary Police found the patron in the casino and brought him back for investigation.
Investigation revealed that the involved mainland woman had been engaging in illegal currency exchange in the casinos in Macao since early April 2025, with a profit of approximately HKD150 for every HKD10,000 exchanged. She had gained a total profit of around HKD30,000 so far. The cash chips of HKD243,500 seized on her were the fund for illegal currency exchange.
Based on the investigative results, the Judiciary Police transferred the involved mainland woman to the Public Prosecutions Office for the offence of operating illegal currency exchange for gambling.
Mulher da RPC detida por câmbio ilícito
No dia 21 de Abril de 2026, quando o pessoal da Divisão de Investigação de Crimes relacionados com o Jogo estava a efectuar uma rusga que tinha como alvo o câmbio ilícito num casino do Cotai, descobriu que uma mulher do Interior da China e um cliente trocaram 35.200 CNY por 40.000 HKD em fichas. Foram levados para as instalações da PJ.
Na investigação, verificou-se que no mesmo dia essa mulher trocou, com outro cliente, 10.000 HKD em fichas por 8.950 CNY. Mais tarde, o cliente acabou por ser encontrado no casino e também foi levado para a PJ.
Apurou-se que a mulher começou a explorar nos casinos o câmbio ilícito em Abril de 2025, ao passo que lucrava cerca de 150 HKD na troca de cada 10 mil HKD, tendo ganho, por enquanto, cerca de 30 mil HKD. Além disso, foram apreendidas na posse dela 243.500 HKD em fichas usadas na troca ilegal de dinheiro.
Conforme apurado na investigação, a mulher foi presente ao MP por exploração de câmbio ilícito para jogo.
