四內地漢分涉不法匯兌及搶劫被拘
2026年4月15日晚，內地男事主在路氹城區一娛樂場內與首名、次名及第四名涉案內地男子進行不法匯兌，雙方協議以11萬港元兌換96,700元人民幣。首名涉案男子分三次轉帳合共11萬港元至指定帳戶後，事主以未能收到相關款項為由拒絕交出身上的3萬港元籌碼。其後雙方移至娛樂場外，首名及次名涉案內地男子襲擊事主並在其身上搜掠，其間第三名涉案內地男子從娛樂場步出並加入搶奪，最終首名涉案內地男子從事主褲袋內奪去3萬港元籌碼並交由第三名涉案內地男子帶走，而第四名涉案內地男子則沒有參與搶劫。酒店保安員聞訊報警求助，案件由治安警察局轉交本局跟進。
本局第四統籌科展開調查，於案發地點附近截獲第三名涉案內地男子，除起回搶劫所得的3萬港元籌碼外，亦在四人身上檢獲合共3部手機，並查悉四人自2025年5月起在本澳從事不法匯兌活動。調查期間，事主聲稱已收到首名涉案內地男子的轉帳，故並無損失。
本局根據調查所得，分別以經營為賭博的不法匯兌罪以及搶劫罪將四名涉案內地男子移送檢察院偵辦。
Four mainland men arrested respectively for illegal currency exchange and robbery
On the night of 15th April 2026, the victim, a mainland man, was conducting illegal currency exchange with the first, second and fourth involved mainland men at a casino in the Cotai district. Both parties agreed to exchange HKD110,000 for RMB96,700. After the first involved man had transferred a total of HKD110,000 to a designated account in three separate transactions, the victim refused to hand over HKD30,000 of chips he was carrying, stating that he had not received the funds. Both parties subsequently moved outside the casino, where the first and second involved mainland men assaulted and searched the victim. During the course, the third involved mainland man exited the casino and joined the robbery. Eventually, the first involved mainland man snatched HKD30,000 of chips from the victim’s trouser pocket and handed them to the third involved mainland man to take away, while the fourth involved mainland man did not participate in the robbery. Hotel security guards got alerted and reported to the police for assistance. The case was referred by the Public Security Police Force to the Judiciary Police for follow-up.
The Fourth Section of Coordination of the Judiciary Police launched an investigation and intercepted the third involved mainland man near the crime scene. In addition to recovering HKD30,000 of chips obtained in the robbery, a total of three mobile phones were seized from the four persons. It was also discovered that the four persons had been engaged in illegal currency exchange activities in Macao since May 2025. During investigation, the victim claimed that he had already received the transfer from the first involved mainland man and therefore suffered no loss.
Based on investigative findings, the Judiciary Police transferred the four involved mainland men to the Public Prosecutions Office on respective charges of operating illegal currency exchange for gambling and robbery.
