內地男子涉不法匯兌就逮
本局有組織罪案調查處人員於路氹城區一娛樂場附設酒店進行針對不法匯兌的巡查打擊行動，其間發現三名男子疑似進行不法匯兌，兩名客人在完成交易後以兌換所得的現金換取籌碼賭博。本局人員遂立即上前截查，在涉案內地男子身上檢獲與犯罪相關的7.6萬港元現金、1,500元人民幣及1部手機，並發現其自2025年12月中旬開始在本澳從事不法匯兌，並分別於4月12日及4月13日與上述兩名客人進行交易，兩次均以1.8萬元人民幣兌換2萬港元現金。
本局根據調查所得，以經營為賭博的不法匯兌罪將涉案內地男子移送檢察院偵辦。
Mainland man arrested for illegal currency exchange
Officers of the Organised Crime Division of the Judiciary Police were conducting patrol and combat operation against illegal currency exchange inside the affiliated hotel of a casino in Cotai district, during which three men were discovered to be conducting suspected illegal currency exchange. Upon completion of the transaction, two patrons used the exchanged cash to exchange chips for gambling. The Judiciary Police officers swiftly intercepted the involved mainland man, seizing from him crime-related HKD76,000 in cash, RMB1,500 in cash, and one mobile phone. It was also discovered that he had been engaging in illegal currency exchange in Macao since mid-December 2025. He had conducted transactions with the two aforementioned patrons on April 12th and April 13th respectively, with an amount of RMB18,000 being exchanged to HKD20,000 in cash on both occasions.
Based on investigative results, the Judiciary Police transferred the involved man to the Public Prosecutions Office with the charge of operating illegal currency exchange for gambling.
