內地漢涉加重盜竊就逮
2026年3月8日晚，事主偕同涉案內地男子入住路氹城區一酒店房間，並將700萬港元現金放在房間茶几上。翌日早上，事主因急事離開房間，涉案男子則在房間內睡覺，其後事主返回房間時發現涉案男子已離開，且茶几上的款項不翼而飛，懷疑遭對方盜去，故報警求助。
本局第二統籌科跟進調查，鎖定涉案男子身份，且查悉其乘事主離開房間後盜取上述現金，將之存放到中區一娛樂場的帳戶後逃離本澳。其後本局人員於上述娛樂場成功起回全部贓款。
2026年3月31日晚，本局人員於澳門國際機場口岸將涉案男子截獲。
本局根據調查所得，以加重盜竊罪將涉案男子移送檢察院偵辦。
Mainland man arrested for aggravated theft
On the night of 8th March 2026, the victim stayed the night with the involved mainland man in a hotel guest room in Cotai district, and placed HKD7 million of cash on the teapoy in the room. On the following morning, the victim left the room for something urgent, while the involved man was still sleeping inside the room. Later when the victim returned to the room, he discovered that the involved man had left, with the funds on the teapoy vanished. Suspecting a theft committed by the involved man, the victim reported to the police for help.
The 2nd Section of Coordination followed up on the investigation and identified the involved man. It was also discovered that he had seized the opportunity to steal the aforementioned cash when the victim left the room, and deposited the cash in the account of a casino in Central district before he fled Macao. Afterwards, the Judiciary Police officers successfully recovered all of the illicit proceeds from the aforementioned casino.
On the night of 31st March 2026, the Judiciary Police officers intercepted the involved man at the Macau International Airport Checkpoint.
Based on investigative results, the Judiciary Police transferred the involved man to the Public Prosecutions Office with the charge of aggravated theft.
