涉不法匯兌 內地婦就逮
2026年3月25日下午，本局博彩罪案調查處人員調查一宗由路氹城區一娛樂場通知的不法匯兌案件，發現涉案內地女子與一名男客人於上述娛樂場吸煙室內以9,100元人民幣轉帳兌換10,000港元籌碼，完成交易後男客人隨即以兌換所得籌碼賭博並輸清。經查，本局人員於涉案女子身上檢獲一部手機，並查悉其自今年3月中旬起在本澳娛樂場內從事不法匯兌活動。
本局根據調查所得，以經營為賭博的不法匯兌罪將涉案女子移送檢察院偵辦。
Mainland woman arrested for involvement in illegal currency exchange
On the afternoon of 25th March 2026, when officers of the Gaming-related Crimes Division of the Judiciary Police were investigating an illegal currency exchange case which was notified by a casino in Cotai district, an involved mainland woman was found to have exchanged RMB9,100 by account transfer for HKD10,000 worth of chips with a male patron inside the smoking room of the aforementioned casino. After the transaction was completed, the male patron swiftly used the exchanged chips for gambling, which were then all gambled away. Subsequent to investigation, the Judiciary Police officers seized a mobile phone on the involved woman, and discovered that she had been engaging in illegal currency exchange activities in casinos in Macao since mid-March 2026.
Based on investigative results, the Judiciary Police transferred the involved woman to the Public Prosecutions Office with the charge of operating illegal currency exchange for gambling.
Detida uma mulher do Interior da China por câmbio ilícito
Na tarde de 25 de Março de 2026, o pessoal da Divisão de Investigação de Crimes relacionados com o Jogo descobriu, no âmbito da investigação de um caso de câmbio ilícito comunicado por um casino do Cotai, que uma mulher proveniente do Interior da China e um cliente tinham efectuado uma transferência de 9.100 RMB para a troca de 10.000 HKD em fichas na sala para fumadores do casino em questão. Após a conclusão da transacção, o cliente foi jogar logo com as fichas obtidas e acabou por as perder todas. Na investigação, foi encontrado um telemóvel na posse da mulher e apurado que esta começou a praticar actividades de câmbio ilícito nos casinos locais em meados de Março deste ano.
Conforme os resultados obtidos na investigação, a mulher foi presente ao Ministério Público por exploração de câmbio ilícito.
