涉為賭博的不法借貸 兩內地漢就逮
2026年3月9日晚，內地男事主於路氹城區一娛樂場內以配碼方式向首名涉案內地男子借貸賭博，條件為雙方各自出資30萬港元，以及每當賭局勝出時須抽取投注額兩成作利息。賭博過程中由次名涉案內地男子負責投注，期間抽取約7萬港元利息。直至合資賭本剩餘30萬港元籌碼時，雙方因籌碼歸屬問題爭執，驚動場內保安員報警求助。
本局博彩罪案調查處展開調查，檢獲30萬港元涉案籌碼，在兩名涉案男子身上各搜獲一部手機，並查知首名涉案男子已將利息交給在逃同黨。
本局根據調查所得，以為賭博的不法借貸罪將兩名涉案男子移送檢察院偵辦，並繼續追緝其餘在逃涉案人。
Two mainland Chinese men arrested for illegal money lending for gambling
On the evening of 9th March 2026, the male victim from mainland China borrowed money from the first involved mainland Chinese man for gambling by chip-matching at a casino in Cotai, on condition that HKD 300,000 would be contributed by each of the party and 20% of the wager withdrawn as an interest in every winning game. During the gambling, the second involved mainland Chinese man placed bets, withdrawing an interest of about HKD 70,000. When there was HKD 300,000 of chips left in the joint wager, the two parties started quarreling over the ownership of the chips. Alarmed by the commotion, the on-site security guards reported to the police.
Launching investigation, the Gaming-related Crimes Division of the Judiciary Police seized the involved HKD 300,000 of chips and a mobile phone on each of the two involved men, the first of whom had handed the interest to an accomplice at large.
Based on investigative findings, the Judiciary Police transferred the two involved men to the Public Prosecutions Office for the charge of illegal money lending for gambling, while continuing to pursue the remaining involved persons at large.
