內地婦涉經營為賭博的不法匯兌被拘
2025年8月26日上午，本局有組織罪案調查處人員於新口岸區一娛樂場附屬範圍進行針對不法匯兌的巡查打擊行動，其間發現一名女客人以手提電話掃描涉案內地女子所展示的二維碼並進行操作後，獲對方給予2萬港元現金，隨即進入娛樂場並以當中的7,000港元現金兌成籌碼賭博。
基於有理由懷疑有人在娛樂場附屬範圍經營未獲批准的貨幣匯兌業務，故本局人員立即上前截查，在涉案內地女子身上檢獲與犯罪有關的8.6萬港元現金、5,200港元籌碼以及一部手提電話，並在客人身上起回涉案的7,000港元籌碼。經查，涉案內地女子自今年8月上旬起在本澳娛樂場及周邊從事不法匯兌活動。
本局根據調查所得，以經營為賭博的不法匯兌罪將涉案內地女子移送檢察院偵辦。
Mainland woman involved in operating illegal currency exchange for gambling under arrest
On the morning of 26th August 2025, the Organized Crime Division personnel of the Judiciary Police conducted a patrol and combat operation against illegal currency exchange in the area affiliated with a casino in the ZAPE district. During the operation, they found a female patron scanning a QR code presented by the involved Mainland woman and operating on her mobile phone, after which she received HKD20,000 in cash from the involved woman. The female patron then immediately entered the casino and exchanged HKD7,000 of the cash into chips for gambling.
The Judiciary Police personnel, justifiably suspecting that someone had operated the business of unauthorised currency exchange within the casino-affiliated area, hence immediately intercepted them for investigation, seizing crime-related HKD86,000 in cash, HKD5,200 in chips and a mobile phone on the involved Mainland woman, as well as recovering the involved HKD7,000 worth of chips from the patron. Investigation revealed that the involved Mainland woman had been engaging in illegal currency exchange activities in local casinos and their peripheries since early August this year.
Based on the investigative findings, the Judiciary Police transferred the involved Mainland woman to the Public Prosecutions Office for the offence of operating illegal currency exchange for gambling.
Mulher da RPC detida por exploração de câmbio ilícito para jogo
Na manhã de 26 de Agosto de 2025, o pessoal da Divisão de Investigação e Combate ao Banditismo efectuou uma rusga que tinha como alvo o câmbio ilícito no hotel dum casino situado na NAPE. Durante a operação, verificou que uma cliente fez o scan do código QR fornecido por uma mulher da China continental e procedeu algumas operações no telemóvel, conseguindo logo 20 mil HKD em numerário. De seguida, entrou no casino e trocou 7.000 desses dólares em fichas para depois apostar.
Por haver razões para crer que uma delas havia praticado exploração de actividades de troca ilegal de moeda, sem autorização, nas instalações acessórias do casino, o pessoal desta Divisão avançou imediatamente e interceptou a mulher. Na posse dela, foram encontrados 86 mil HKD em numerário, 5.200 HKD em fichas e um telemóvel, todos supostamente ligados ao crime, e na posse da cliente foram apreendidas fichas no valor de 7.000 HKD. Após investigação, apurou-se que a mulher, da RPC, desde os inícios de Agosto deste ano, estava a praticar a troca ilegal de dinheiro nos casinos locais e seus arredores.
Com base no resultado da investigação, a detida foi presente ao Ministério Público, acusada de exploração de câmbio ilícito para jogo.
