本澳女子涉不法匯兌被拘
本局有組織罪案調查處人員於2025年8月21日上午在皇朝區一娛樂場附設的大型酒店進行針對不法匯兌的巡查打擊行動，其間發現一名涉案本澳女子與一名內地客人正進行不法匯兌活動，遂截查兩人並帶返本局調查。
經調查顯示，涉案本澳女子在酒店大堂與客人達成貨幣兌換協議，雙方議定以5萬港元兌換46,650元人民幣。該名客人掃描涉案本澳女子提供的二維碼轉帳後，隨即取得相應籌碼並在該娛樂場進行賭博。基於有理由相信兩人進行不法兌換，故本局人員立即採取行動截查兩人，在涉案本澳女子身上搜獲一部手機及1.6萬港元現金，並在客人身上起回涉及不法匯兌的5萬港元籌碼。
經調查，涉案本澳女子自今年6月中旬開始在本澳從事不法匯兌活動，至今合共獲利約2萬元人民幣。本局根據調查所得，以經營為賭博的不法匯兌罪將涉案本澳女子移送檢察院偵辦。
Local woman arrested for illegal currency exchange
On the morning of 21st August 2025, the Organized Crime Division personnel of the Judiciary Police conducted a patrol and combat operation against illegal currency exchange at a large-scale hotel attached to a casino in the NAPE district, during which they found an involved local woman conducting illegal currency exchange activities with a Mainland patron, hence intercepted them for questioning and brought them back to the Judiciary Police for investigation.
Investigation revealed that the involved local woman reached a currency exchange agreement with the patron in the hotel lobby, whereby both parties agreed to exchange HKD50,000 for RMB46,650. After scanning the QR code provided by the involved local woman for money transfer, the patron immediately received the corresponding chips and engaged in gambling in the casino. The Judiciary Police personnel, justifiably believing that the duo had conducted illegal currency exchange, immediately took actions to intercept the duo for investigation, seizing a mobile phone and HKD16,000 of cash on the local woman, as well as recovering the HKD50,000 of chips involving in illegal currency exchange from the patron.
Subsequent to investigation, it was found that the involved local woman had been engaging in illegal currency exchange activities in Macao since mid-June this year, and has so far profited a total of approximately RMB20,000. Based on the investigative findings, the Judiciary Police transferred the involved local woman to the Public Prosecutions Office for the offence of operating illegal currency exchange for gambling.
Detida uma residente por exploração de câmbio ilícito para jogo
Na manhã de 21 de Agosto de 2025, o pessoal da Divisão de Investigação e Combate ao Banditismo estava a efectuar uma rusga que tinha como alvo o câmbio ilícito no hotel dum casino situado na NAPE. Durante a operação, verificou-se que uma mulher local, suspeita deste crime, estava a praticar actividade de câmbio ilícito com um cliente do continente, pelo que foi feita a detenção dos dois que foram encaminhados às instalações da PJ para fim de investigação.
Após averiguações, apurou-se que a suspeita tinha chegado a um acordo de câmbio com o cliente no lobby do hotel. Os dois acordaram em trocar 46.650 RMB por 50.000 HKD. Depois de fazer o scan do código QR fornecido pela mulher e proceder a uma transferência, o cliente conseguiu logo fichas correspondentes e foi jogar no mesmo casino. Como havia fundamentos para crer que os dois indivíduos se haviam envolvido em câmbio ilícito, os nossos agentes intervieram de imediato. Foram encontrados na posse da mulher um telemóvel e 16.000 HKD em numerário, bem como foram recuperados, na posse do cliente, 50.000 HKD de fichas que se suspeitavam relacionadas com o câmbio ilícito.
Na investigação, soube-se que a mulher começou, em meados de Junho deste ano, a praticar actividades de câmbio ilícito em Macau, tendo obtido cerca de 20.000 RMB em lucros ilegais até à data. Conforme os resultados obtidos na investigação, a detida foi presente ao Ministério Público acusada de exploração de câmbio ilícito para jogo.
