內地男子涉巨額詐騙被捕
2025年8月20日晚上，女事主向本局報稱早前在路氹城區一娛樂場遭一名內地男子詐騙金錢，兩人現身處新口岸區一酒店房間，要求本局派員處理。
經查，涉案內地男子向女事主訛稱認識一名“逢賭必贏”的人士，誘騙女事主交出款項由該人士代為賭博。女事主信以為真，於8月20日凌晨，在路氹城區一娛樂場將7.5萬港元交予涉案內地男子。其後女事主先行取回3萬港元籌碼後離開。同日下午，女事主前往酒店房間詢問賭博結果，但涉案內地男子一直借故拖延。直至晚上，涉案內地男子仍未能交代金錢去向，女事主察覺受騙遂報警求助，共損失4.5萬港元。
經本局博彩罪案調查處調查，涉案內地男子所言純屬虛構，且將詐騙所得款項已用於賭博並輸光。本局人員在其身上搜獲2,000港元現金，懷疑是詐騙所得餘款。
本局根據調查所得，以詐騙（巨額）罪將涉案內地男子移送檢察院偵辦。
Mainland man arrested for massive fraud
On the evening of 20th August 2025, the female victim reported to the Judiciary Police that she was defrauded of money by a mainland man in a casino in the Cotai district earlier, and the two of them were in a hotel room in ZAPE district at the moment, requesting the Judiciary Police to send personnel to assist.
After investigation, it was found that the involved mainland man falsely claimed to the female victim that he knew someone who got a “golden touch” at gambling, luring the female victim to hand out money for the person to gamble on her behalf. Taking it to be true, the female victim handed HKD 75,000 to the involved mainland man in a casino in the Cotai district in the wee hours of 20th August 2025. Later, the female victim took back HKD 30,000 in chips and left. On the afternoon of the same day, the female victim went to the hotel room to enquire about the gambling result, but the involved man kept stalling by making excuses. Until the evening, the involved mainland man still could not explain the whereabouts of the money. The female victim found out that she was defrauded and reported the case to the police, suffering a loss of HKD 45,000 in total.
Investigation of the Gaming-related Crimes Division of the Judiciary Police revealed that the involved mainland man’s claim was entirely fabricated, and he had gambled away all the proceeds of fraud. The personnel of the Judiciary Police seized HKD 2,000 in cash on him, which was suspected to be the remaining proceeds of fraud.
Based on investigative findings, the Judiciary Police transferred the involved mainland man to the Public Prosecutions Office for the offence of fraud (massive amount).
Homem do continente detido por burla de valor elevado
Na noite do dia 20 de Agosto de 2025, uma vítima apresentou denúncia à PJ, dizendo que tinha sido burlada num casino no Cotai por um homem do continente. No momento da denúncia, ela e o suspeito estavam num quarto de um hotel na Zape, pelo que solicitava o acompanhamento da polícia.
Segundo a investigação, o homem do continente seduziu a vítima para que esta lhe entregasse dinheiro e a ajudasse a apostar dizendo-lhe que conhecia alguém que poderia ganhar em todos os jogos. A vítima acreditou nele e, assim, na alvorada de 20 de Agosto, entregou-lhe 75 mil HKD mas depois, guardou 30 mil HKD e foi-se embora. Na tarde do mesmo dia, a vítima foi ao quarto do hotel e perguntou aquele homem os resultados das apostas. No entanto, o mesmo eximiu-se por várias vezes com pretextos. Até à noite, o suspeito do continente ainda não tinha esclarecido para onde foi o dinheiro em causa, pelo que a vítima desconfiou tratar-se de uma burla e fez queixa à polícia.
Com a investigação da Divisão de Investigação de Crimes relacionados com o Jogo foi apurado que tudo aquilo que fora dito pelo homem do continente era falso e todo o dinheiro burlado foi todo perdido ao jogo. Na posse dele foram encontrados 2 mil HKD em numerário supondo-se ser algum do dinheiro burlado.
Conforme os resultados obtidos na investigação, o detido foi presente ao Ministério Público por burla (de valor elevado).
