司警局公佈懷疑殺人及自殺案
2025年8月18日中午，本局報案及緊急行動中心接獲治安警察局北區警司處來電通知，指有市民稱在北區某住所單位內發現一具男性屍體，同時報稱其父親自行反鎖在該單位內，要求本局派員到場調查。
本局人員到達案發現場後，據治安警員及消防員稱，當抵達現場並成功進入上述單位時，目睹有一名男子從單位露台墮下，該男子當場死亡。
本局立即啟動嚴重案件現場勘查機制。在案發單位內，未發現明顯打鬥痕跡，死者伏屍單位內客廳地面上，估計已死去多時。本局人員在單位客廳的一處發現一支染有血漬的金屬水管，初步勘查結果顯示該單位為第一現場。
經法醫檢查後，初步估計死者是受鈍器挫裂傷致死，符合被殺的特徵，具體死因需待解剖後作進一步證實。
本局人員亦對另一高處墮下死亡男子進行檢查，屍身傷勢符合由高處墮下所造成。
根據調查顯示，兩名死者為兄弟關係，案發單位由胞兄獨自居住。據資料顯示兩人於8月15日先後進入案發大廈，但再沒有胞弟離開單位的相關資訊。經初步調查，案件涉及金錢糾紛。本局繼續對該案件進行調查。
Judiciary Police announces a case of suspected homicide-suicide
The Case Reporting and Emergency Operation Centre of the Judiciary Police was notified, by phone, by the North District Subdivision of the Public Security Police Force at noon on 18 August 2025 that a resident had allegedly found a male corpse at a residential apartment in the northern district, while reporting that his father had locked himself in the apartment. The Judiciary Police was summoned to the scene for investigation.
Arriving at the scene, the Judiciary Police officers learnt from the Public Security Police Force officers and firefighters that on their arrival and successful entry into the said apartment, they witnessed a man falling to his instant death from the apartment balcony.
The Judiciary Police launched the mechanism of crime scene investigation for serious crimes at once. No obvious signs of fighting were found in the involved apartment. The deceased, estimated to have been dead for a long time, was lying on the floor of the living room, where the Judiciary Police discovered a metal pipe stained with blood. Preliminary investigation indicated the apartment as the primary crime scene.
Upon examination, the medical examiner preliminarily suggested that the deceased had suffered a fatal blunt trauma, matching the characteristics of being killed. The specific cause of death is to be ascertained after autopsy.
The Judiciary Police officers also examined the fallen man and determined that his injuries had been caused by plunging from a height.
Investigation showed that the two deceased were brothers. The elder brother had resided in the involved apartment alone. It was indicated that the duo had successively entered the building on August 15th, with no signs of the younger brother leaving the apartment. Preliminary investigation suggested that the case involved a money dispute. The Judiciary Police will continue looking into the case.

Ao meio-dia de 18 de Agosto de 2025, o Núcleo de Denúncias e Intervenção recebeu uma chamada telefónica do Comissariado da Zona Norte do Corpo de Polícia de Segurança Pública, informando que um cidadão alegou ter descoberto um cadáver do sexo masculino num apartamento da zona Norte e que o seu pai se tinha fechado dentro do referido apartamento, pedindo que a PJ enviasse pessoal para o local para investigar.
O nosso pessoal deslocou-se ao local do crime. Segundo os agentes do CPSP e os bombeiros que chegaram ao local, ao conseguirem entrar no apartamento em causa, viram um homem precipitar-se da varanda do apartamento, tendo morrido instantaneamente.
A PJ iniciou de imediato os procedimentos da inspecção num local de crime grave. Não foram descobertos vestígios expressos de briga no apartamento onde ocorreu o crime, e o corpo do falecido foi encontrado no chão da sala de estar, estimando-se que já estivesse morto há algum tempo. O nosso pessoal encontrou um cano de água, de metal, manchado com sangue na sala de estar e, segundo os resultados preliminares da inspecção, o apartamento foi o local exacto do crime.
Após o exame do médico-legal, estimou-se preliminarmente que a morte tenha sido por contusões com objectos contundentes, o que corresponde às características de homicídio. A causa concreta da morte necessita de ser confirmada após a autópsia
O nosso pessoal também examinou o homem que morreu após se arrojar do alto, e os ferimentos no corpo correspondiam aos causados pela queda em altura elevada.
Conforme o que foi apurado na investigação, os dois falecidos eram irmãos, e o irmão mais velho morava sozinho no apartamento em causa. As informações mostram que os dois entraram no edifício no dia 15 de Agosto, não havendo mais indicações sobre a saída do irmão mais novo do apartamento. As investigações preliminares indicam que o caso envolve um conflito de dinheiro. A PJ continua a investigar o caso.
