內地男子涉加重盜竊法辦
2024年4月30日晚，本局接獲路氹城區一娛樂場通知，一名男賭客被人盜去籌碼，將該賭客連同作案後被場內保安員截獲的涉案內地男子一併轉交本局跟進。
本局博彩罪案調查處查悉涉案內地男子於當晚在娛樂場內發現事主於賭枱上投注了一疊共五個、每個面值5萬港元的籌碼，於是佯裝投注，伸手經過事主的籌碼時，以藏在掌心裏的雙面膠紙黏走最上的一個5萬港元籌碼然後離開。其後事主獲他人告知籌碼被盜，即向場內保安員求助，終成功在場內截獲涉案內地男子。本局人員於其身上搜獲屬於事主的5萬港元籌碼，以及作案用的雙面膠紙。
本局根據調查所得，以加重盜竊罪將涉案內地男子移送檢察院偵辦。
Mainland man arrested for aggravated theft
On the night of 30th April 2024, a casino at Cotai Strip notified the Judiciary Police that a male gambler’s chip had been stolen by someone. The gambler, along with the involved mainland man who was intercepted after perpetration by the on-site security guard, were both transferred to the Judiciary Police for follow-up.
After investigation, the Gaming-related Crimes Division of the Judiciary Police realised that, the involved mainland man had found the victim wagering a stack of five chips in total, each with denomination of HKD50,000, on a gaming table that night. Therefore, the involved man pretended to place bets and stretched his hand to pass by the victim’s chips, while using the double-sided tape hidden on his palm to stick the topmost HKD50,000-chip away before fleeing. Afterwards, someone else informed the victim that the chip had been stolen, thus seeking assistance immediately from the on-site security guard. Eventually, the mainland involved man was successfully intercepted at the scene. The Judiciary Police officers found him in possession of the victim’s HKD50,000-chip and the double-sided tape used for perpetration.
Based on the investigative findings, the Judiciary Police transferred the involved mainland man to the Public Prosecutions Office with the charge of aggravated theft.

Na noite de 30 de Abril de 2024, a PJ recebeu uma notificação de um casino do Cotai, indicando que a um jogador foi lhe furtada uma ficha. Este jogador, juntamente com o homem do continente que foi interceptado pelo pessoal de segurança do casino após o crime, foi transferido para a PJ.
A Divisão de Investigação de Crimes Relacionados com o Jogo apurou que o suspeito, do continente, descobriu, na noite do crime, no casino, que a vítima tinha apostado uma pilha de cinco fichas com o valor nominal de 50.000 HKD cada na mesa de jogo, portanto, fingiu fazer uma aposta e, ao estender a mão passando pelas fichas da vítima, roubou a que estava em cima, de 50.000 HKD, usando um pedaço de fita adesiva dupla escondida na palma da mão, a seguir saiu casino. Mais tarde, a vítima foi informada por outros sobre o furto da sua ficha, pediu logo ajuda aos seguranças, finalmente o suspeito foi interceptado no local. Na posse dele, o nosso pessoal encontrou a ficha de 50.000 HKD pertencente à vítima, bem como a fita adesiva usada.
Conforme o que foi apurado na investigação, o detido foi presente ao Ministério Público por furto qualificado.
