兩名香港男女涉持偽證典當假錶被捕
2023年4月24日,本局先後接獲兩間押店報稱被一名男子以典當假冒名錶進行詐騙,合共損失13萬港元。
本局經濟罪案調查處人員跟進調查,發現兩間押店所檢舉的涉案男子為同一名香港男子,並查得其以偽造香港居民身份證典當假錶後逃離本澳;4月26日,涉案男子帶同一名香港女子來澳,兩人分別前往新口岸區的押店典當假錶,本局人員見時機成熟將兩人截獲,在兩人身上搜獲三枚贗品名錶及兩張偽造香港居民身份證。
兩名涉案男女承認犯案,涉案女子供稱收取一萬港元報酬協助涉案男子典當假錶。根據調查所得,倘上述贗品名錶成功典當,兩人可得18萬港元不法利益。本局以詐騙(相當巨額)罪及偽造具特別價值之文件罪將兩人移送檢察院偵辦。
Two Hongkongers arrested for involvement in pawning fake watches with forged identity documents
On 24th April 2023, the Judiciary Police received complaints from two pawn shops in succession, reporting that they had been defrauded by a man on the pretext of pawning fake luxury watches, incurring a total loss of HKD130,000.
Personnel of the Economic Crimes Division of the Judiciary Police followed up with the investigation, and discovered that, the involved man whom the two pawn shops reported against, was the same Hong Kong man. Besides, investigation revealed that the man had fled Macao after pawning the fake watches with a forged Hong Kong identity card. On April 26th, the involved man brought along with him a Hong Kong woman to Macao. The duo proceeded to the pawnshops in the ZAPE district to pawn fake watches respectively. Seeing the opportune moment, personnel of the Judiciary Police intercepted the duo. Three fake luxury watches and two forged Hong Kong identity cards were seized from the duo.
The two involved man and woman admitted to the crime. The involved woman confessed that she had received HKD10,000 as a reward for assisting the involved man to pawn the fake watches. Based on investigative findings, should the aforesaid fake luxury watches be successfully pawned, the duo would be able to receive ill-gotten gains of HKD180,000. The Judiciary Police transferred the duo to the Public Prosecutions Office for the offences of fraud (considerably huge amount) and falsification of documents of special value.

Em 24 de Abril, recebemos as queixas de duas casas de penhores, ambas disseram que tinham sido burladas por um homem ao penhorar um relógio de luxo falso, que lhes causou um prejuízo de 130.000 HKD.
O pessoal da Divisão de Investigação de Crimes Económicos acompanhou a investigação e verificou que as queixas eram contra um mesmo homem de Hong Kong. Na investigação apurou-se que aquele homem tinha utilizado um BIR de Hong Kong falso e tinha fugido de Macau após o crime. No dia 26 de Abril o suspeito entrou novamente a Macau com uma mulher de Hong Kong, os dois foram a algyumas casas de penhores do ZAPE para penhorar relógios falsos. Os dois foram detidos, no momento oportuno, e foram encontrados, nas suas posses, três relógios de luxo falsos e dois BIRs de Hong Kong, ambos falsos.
Os dois admitiram o crime, a mulher disse que recebeu 10.000 dólares de Hong Kong para ajudar o suspeito a penhorar os objectos. Conforme apurado, se os detidos conseguissem penhorar aqueles relógios poderiam receber 180.000 HKD. Os detidos foram presentes ao MP acusados de burla (valor consideravelmente elevado) e de falsificação de documento de especial valor.
