內地男子涉典當假錶被拘
2023年3月7日,本局接獲治安警察局轉介一宗詐騙案,指一名內地男子向新口岸區一押店典當一枚名錶,押店職員其後檢查手錶時發現為贗品,店方報稱損失七萬港元。
本局經濟罪案調查處人員跟進調查,經相關專業人士鑑定證實上述手錶為贗品,於同日下午在關閘口岸將涉案男子截獲,在其身上起回二萬港元現金;其承認在內地購入假錶來澳典當,並輸掉大部分贓款。
本局以詐騙(巨額)罪將涉案男子移送檢察院偵辦。
Mainland man apprehended for pawning counterfeit watch
On 7th March 2023, the Public Security Police Force referred a fraud case to the Judiciary Police, indicating that a mainland man had pawned a luxury watch at a pawnshop in the ZAPE district, which was subsequently found to be a counterfeit by the staff of the pawn shop upon inspection. The shop reported that a loss of HKD70,000 had been incurred.
The personnel of the Economic Crimes Division of the Judiciary Police followed up on investigation and the abovementioned watch was confirmed to be a counterfeit after examination by relevant expert. The involved man was intercepted at the Border Gate Checkpoint on the afternoon of the same day, with cash of HKD20,000 being retrieved from him. He admitted to have purchased a counterfeit watch in the mainland for pawning in Macao and had gambled away most of the illicit proceeds.
The Judiciary Police transferred the involved man to the Public Prosecutions Office for the offence of (massive) fraud.
Detido um homem da China continental por penhorar um relógio falso
Em 7 de Março de 2023, a Polícia Judiciária recebeu um caso de burla transferido pelo CPSP, no qual se indicava que um homem da China continental penhorou um relógio de marca numa casa de penhores na zona do ZAPE, mais tarde, na verificação do relógio, o funcionário descobriu que era falso, a casa de penhores alegou ter sofrido um prejuízo de 70.000 HKD.
O pessoal da Divisão de Investigação de Crimes Económicos acompanhou a investigação. Após as perícias efectuadas por um especialista, confirmou-se que o relógio em causa era falso, o homem foi detido no posto fronteiriço das Portas do Cerco na mesma tarde e foram recuperados 20.000 HKD em numerário que estavam na sua posse. Este admitiu ter comprado um relógio falso no continente para o penhorar em Macau e que gastou a maior parte do dinheiro burlado.
O suspeito foi presente ao Ministério Público por burla (valor elevado).
