本澳男子涉銷贓被捕
2023年1月12日,一名經營押店的本澳男東主向本局檢舉其店舖的一名男職員,報稱於2022年11月發現押店內兩件典當物不翼而飛,包括一條金頸鏈及一隻手錶,經其查問後,上述男職員承認將兩件典當物據為己有,並承諾會退還款項,但最終並未退款,男東主故報警求助,事件中共損失80,000港元。
經本局經濟罪案調查處調查發現,一名本澳男子曾於2022年3月在皇朝區某押店以25,000港元將涉案手錶進行典當。其後,本局人員於該名男子的住所內將其尋獲,其承認知悉涉案手錶為其友人之不法所得,而所得贓款已全數交給其友人。
本局以贓物罪將涉案男子移送檢察院處理,並繼續追查涉案押店男職員及贓物下落。
Macao man nabbed for involvement in selling stolen goods
On 12th January 2023, a Macao male owner running a pawnshop lodged a complaint against a male staff member of his shop with the Judiciary Police, claiming that two pawned items, including a gold necklace and a watch, were found missing from the pawnshop in November 2022. Upon enquiry, the aforesaid male staff member admitted that he had appropriated the two pawned items and promised to return the money. Yet, no money was returned in the end. Thus, the male owner reported to the police for assistance. A total loss of HK$80,000 was incurred in this incident.
Upon investigation, the Economic Crimes Division discovered that, a local man had pawned the involved watch for HK$25,000 at a pawnshop in the NAPE district in March 2022. Subsequently, personnel of the Judiciary Police found the man inside his residence. The involved man admitted to knowing that the involved watch had been an ill-gotten gain of his friend, whereas all illicit proceeds had been given to his friend.
The Judiciary Police transferred the involved man to the Public Prosecutions Office for the offence of stolen goods, while continuing to track down the involved male staff member of the pawnshop and the whereabouts of the booty.

No dia 12 de Janeiro, o dono de uma casa de penhores fez queixa contra um funcionário seu, dizendo que em Novembro de 2022, deu conta que dois objectos empenhados da sua loja tinham desaparecidos, um fio de ouro e um relógio. O dono interrogou o funcionário, este admitiu que se tinha apropriado de dois objectos empenhados e prometeu devolver o dinheiro, mas não manteve, portanto o dono pediu a intervenção da polícia declarando um prejuízo total de 80.000 HK$.
Na investigação, a nossa Divisão de Investigação de Crimes Económicos apurou que em Março de 2022, um residente tinha empenhado o relógio em causa numa casa de penhores do NAPE por 25.000 HK$. Mais tarde, o homem foi detido na sua residência, este confessou que sabia que o seu amigo tinha obtido ilegalmente o relógio e disse que o dinheiro foi entregue ao seu amigo.
O detido foi presente ao Ministério Público por receptação. A PJ continua à procura do funcionário e dos objectos furtados.
