男子涉虛擬貨幣相當巨額詐騙被拘
2022年12月9日,本局接獲治安警察局轉介一宗詐騙案,一名內地男子報稱被一名本澳男子及另一名在逃涉案男子假借交易虛擬貨幣詐騙100萬港元。
案情顯示,事主與在逃涉案男子透過微信認識。2022年12月4日,事主受友人所託來澳與在逃涉案男子商討購買虛擬貨幣,雙方約定於12月9日在涉案本澳男子位於皇朝區的一間珠寶店以100萬港元購買132,035個虛擬貨幣,交易期間,涉案本澳男子先以手機匯出13個虛擬貨幣到事主的電子錢包,待確認交易成功後,再將餘下的虛擬貨幣以同樣方式匯給事主,但事主並沒有收到相關虛擬貨幣,經涉案本澳男子查看交易記錄後發現該次交易並非存到事主的電子錢包內,故雙方發生爭執,混亂中事主用作交易的現金不翼而飛。
經訊問,涉案本澳男子聲稱數月前認識在逃涉案男子,對方稱會於2022年12月9日帶同事主前往上述珠寶店購買價值100萬港元的虛擬貨幣,但當日交易失敗,雙方爭吵期間,自己把現金和手機收藏在暗格內,而對方則逃離現場。
本局其後成功起回涉案的100萬港元現金及用作交易虛擬貨幣的手機,並發現涉案男子已在作案當日逃離本澳。本局以詐騙(相當巨額)罪將涉案本澳男子移送檢察院偵辦,並追查在逃涉案男子的下落。
Man apprehended for virtual currency fraud of considerably huge amount
On 9th December 2022, the Judiciary Police received a fraud case referred by the Public Security Police Force in which a mainland man reported to have been defrauded of HKD1,000,000 by a local man and another involved man at large under the pretext of virtual currency transaction.
Case details revealed that the victim had got acquainted with the involved man at large via WeChat. The victim, who had been entrusted by his friend, came to Macao to discuss the purchase of virtual currency with the involved man at large on 4th December 2022. The duo agreed to purchase 132,035 virtual coins at HKD1,000,000 at the involved local man’s jewellery shop in the NAPE district on December 9th. During the transaction, the involved local man first remitted 13 virtual coins to the victim’s e-purse via his mobile phone. Having confirmed that the transaction was successful, he remitted the rest of the virtual coins to the victim with the same method. However, the victim did not receive the relevant virtual coins. After the involved local man checked the transaction record, it was found that the transaction had not been remitted to the victim’s e-purse, which thereby led to a quarrel between the two parties and the victim’s cash for transaction disappeared during the chaos.
After interrogation, the involved local man claimed that he had got acquainted with the involved man at large a few months ago. The opposite party told him that he would bring the victim to the abovementioned jewellery shop to purchase virtual currency worth HKD1,000,000 on 9th December 2022. However, the transaction failed on that day. During the duo’s quarrel, he hid the cash and the mobile phone inside a secret compartment, while the opposite party fled the scene.
After that, the Judiciary Police successfully retrieved the involved cash of HKD1,000,000 and the mobile phone used for the transaction of virtual currency, with the involved man found to have already fled Macao on the day of the incident. The Judiciary Police transferred the involved local man to the Public Prosecutions Office for the offence of fraud (considerably huge amount), while pursuing the whereabouts of the involved man at large.
Detido um homem por burla com moeda virtual
No dia 9 de Dezembro de 2022, a PJ recebeu do CPSP um caso de burla, no qual um homem do continente foi burlado em 1 milhão de HKD numa troca de moeda virtual, com um residente local e um outro homem agora em fuga.
De acordo com as declarações, a vítima e o referido fugitivo conheceram-se através do WeChat. Em 4 de Dezembro de 2022, a pedido dum amigo, a vítima veio a Macau para ter um encontro com o homem agora em fuga, para negociar sobre a aquisição de moedas virtuais, os dois combinaram encontrar-se, no dia 9 de Dezembro, numa joalharia da zona do NAPE, para comprar 132.035 moedas virtuais no valor de 1 milhão de HKD. Na altura, o homem local transferiu 13 moedas virtuais, através do telemóvel, para a carteira digital da vítima, prometendo transferir o restante para a vítima, por meio da mesma forma, depois de se confirmar o sucesso da transferência, mas o residente local não chegou a receber as moedas e depois de ter consultado o registo das transacções verificou que as moedas não foram transferidas para a carteira digital da vítima, por isso os dois tiveram uma discussão, no meio da confusão o dinheiro da vítima, destinado a transferência, desapareceu.
Nas declarações o homem local disse que, meses antes, conheceu o fugitivo, que lhe disse que em 9 de Dezembro de 2022 levou a vítima para uma joalharia para comprar moedas virtuais, no valor de 1 milhão de HKD, mas o negócio não foi bem sucedido e durante a discussão escondeu o dinheiro e o telemóvel num bolso oculto, o outro fugiu do local.
A PJ conseguiu recuperar o dinheiro, 1 milhão de HKD, e o telemóvel utilizado para realizar a transacção das moedas virtuais, e descobriu que o homem envolvido saiu de Macau. O homem local foi presente ao MP, acusado de burla (valor consideravelmente elevado). A PJ vai continuar à procura do outro envolvido.
