In the wee hours of the following day, she was awaken by the noise of door closing, thus got up to check on her belongings, and found that three watches, a diamond ring and a diamond bracelet were gone. The involved man was found via the “Macao citywide electronic surveillance system” (commonly known as “Eye in the Sky”) and was seized at the carpark of a casino on 19th January 2022. He admitted that he had stolen his wife’s watches and jewelleries out of his gambling habit and had already gambled away all the MOP 200,000 he obtained from pawning.
