Local man apprehended for stealing copper tubes at construction site

The Judiciary Police seized 12 bundles of copper tubes weighing around 33 kg at the aforementioned metal recycling shop, then intercepted one of the involved local men in the ZAPE district on 10th January 2022. He admitted to have received a reward of MOP 200 for transporting the copper tubes, which he was aware to be stolen goods, to Coloane for sale.
The Judiciary Police transferred the involved man to the Public Prosecutions Office for the offences of aggravated theft and fraud, while continuing to pursue the other involved person.
