Macao man nabbed for involvement in forgery of document
In September 2021, the Public Prosecutions Office requested the Judiciary Police to conduct an investigation on a case unveiled at a massage establishment in Taipa in early 2019, in relation to a non-resident employee working for a non-authorized entity.
Based on investigative findings, the Judiciary Police learnt that in September 2018, a Macao man assisted a Vietnamese woman to obtain her “Non-resident Worker's Identification Card” on the pretext of applying for a quota to hire a non-resident domestic helper. Yet, there was no actual employment relationship between the duo. The woman was in fact working at the aforesaid massage establishment. On 3rd November 2021, the Judiciary Police took action and intercepted the involved man in the vicinity of his residence and transferred him to the Public Prosecutions Office for the offence of forgery of document, while tracking down if there were other involved individuals.
