本澳男子涉簽發空頭支票被拘
一名本澳男子因生意資金周轉困難，於2019年10月向友人商借60萬澳門元，並向對方開立一張於2020年4月28日兌付的68萬港元支票作抵押，其中八萬港元為利息。該名友人於上述日期到銀行將支票兌現，但因該支票帳戶存款不足而無法兌現，懷疑涉案男子故意簽發空頭支票，遂向本局報案。
本局深入調查後於2020年6月29日傳召涉案男子前來本局，其承認開立上述支票作還款保證，但在還款到期日仍未籌集到足夠款項，以致支票無法兌現。本局以簽發空頭支票罪將涉案男子移送檢察院處理。
Local man arrested for issuing dishonoured cheque
A Macao man borrowed MOP 600,000 from a friend in October 2019 due to liquidity problems in business, and issued a cheque of HKD 680,000 to be honoured on 28th April 2020 as a pledge, with HKD 80,000 of which as interest. The said friend went to a bank to cash the cheque on the aforementioned date but in vain, due to insufficient fund in the cheque account. He suspected that the involved man had intentionally issued a rubber cheque thus reported the case to the Judiciary Police.
After in-depth investigation, the involved man was summoned to the Judiciary Police on 29th June 2020. He admitted that he had issued the aforementioned cheque as the pledge for his repayment but was still unable to raise the required amount on the loan maturity date, causing dishonour of the cheque. He was transferred to the Public Prosecutions Office for the offence of issuing dishonoured cheque.
Homem de Macau detido por emissão de cheque sem provisão
Em Outubro de 2019, um homem de Macau, tendo em vista as dificuldades financeiras dos seus negócios, pediu um empréstimo de 600.000 patacas a um seu amigo, passando-lhe como garantia um cheque de 680.000 HKD, 80.000 dos quais eram de juro, também com a data prevista para o saque, no dia 28 de Abril de 2020. O amigo foi, na data acima referida, a um banco para tentar sacar o cheque, mas não conseguiu por não haver dinheiro suficiente na conta, suspeitou assim que o homem tivesse emitido com dolo o cheque sem cobertura e apresentou uma queixa na PJ.
Após uma investigação profunda, o homem foi convocado, em 29 de Junho de 2020, para comparecer nas nossas instalações, onde admitiu ter emitido o referido cheque para garantir o pagamento das dívidas, no entanto, até o dia de pagamento, ainda não tinha conseguido angariar dinheiro suficiente, por isso o cheque não pode ser sacado. O indivíduo foi presente ao MP por emissão de cheque sem provisão.
