兩名中國台灣男子涉電話詐騙被拘
2019年本局透過與珠海市公安局的情報交流，得悉有犯罪集團租用本澳北區一住宅單位放置電子設備用作傳輸詐騙電話及短訊，遂於同年7月起展開深入調查，發現該電話詐騙集團自2019年6月起在本澳設立窩點並開始運作，於2019年9月底至2020年2月中，每天發出逾六千個詐騙語音通話，以及逾三百筆詐騙短訊，涉及最少七宗內地電話詐騙案件，金額不少於100萬元人民幣。
2020年2月25日，屬於該犯罪集團的兩名中國台灣男子經澳門國際機場進入本澳，其中一人曾前往涉案單位，本局人員嚴密監控，並於翌日在澳門國際機場將該兩名準備離澳的涉案男子截獲，在涉案單位內搜獲八部無線語音網關設備（GOIP）、兩部路由器、兩個光纖解碼器、兩部後備電源、兩個智能定時插座以及一張SD卡，當時有關設備均處於運作狀態。
兩名涉案男子承認受他人指使來澳檢查及維護裝置。本局以犯罪集團及詐騙（相當巨額）罪將兩人移送檢察院偵辦，並深入調查案中是否有人被騙。
Two men from Taiwan, China apprehended for telephone fraud
Through intelligence exchange with the Zhuhai Municipal Public Security Bureau in 2019, the Judiciary Police learned that a criminal syndicate had rented a residential apartment in the Northern district in Macao to place electronic devices for transmitting fraudulent phone calls and text messages. In-depth investigation was thus initiated in July the same year and the telephone fraud syndicate was found to have set up hub in Macao and started operation since June 2019. Between the end of September 2019 and mid- February 2020, more than 6000 fraudulent voice calls, as well as over 300 fraudulent text messages were sent out every day, involving at least 7 telephone fraud cases in the Mainland with an amount of not less than RMB1,000,000.
On 25th February 2020, 2 men from Taiwan, China belonging to the criminal syndicate entered Macao via the Macao International Airport and one of them had gone to the involved apartment. Having monitored them closely, the personnel of the Judiciary Police intercepted the two involved men while they were preparing to leave Macao at the Macao International Airport the following day, seizing 8 sets of GOIP, 2 routers, 2 optical decoders, 2 power banks, 2 smart timer plugs and 1 SD card in the involved apartment, all of which were in operational mode at that time.
The two involved men admitted to have been instructed by others to come to Macao for device examination and maintenance. The Judiciary Police transferred the duo to the Public Prosecutions Office for the offences of criminal syndicate and fraud (considerably huge amount), while investigating thoroughly if anyone had been defrauded in this case.

Em 2019, a PJ, mediante a troca de informações com a Directoria Municipal de Segurança Pública de Zhuhai, conseguiu saber que uma organização criminosa tinha arrendado um apartamento num bairro da zona norte de Macau, onde estavam colocados equipamentos electrónicos usados para a emissão de telefonemas e mensagens fraudulentas. A PJ iniciou então em Julho de 2019 a investigação e descobriu que a tal organização tinha começado naquele mês a estabelecer-se no abrigo e a operar em Macau, entre o fim de Setembro de 2019 e Fevereiro de 2020 foram emitidas por dia 6000 chamadas de voz fraudulentas e mais de 300 mensagens que envolveram pelo menos sete casos de burla ocorridos na China continental, e um prejuízo de mais de um milhão de RMB.
Em 25 de Fevereiro de 2020, dois taiwaneses daquela organização criminosa entraram em Macau via Aeroporto Internacional de Macau, um dos quais foi ao apartamento em causa. A PJ começou a vigiá-los e deteve-os no Aeroporto quando se preparavam para deixar Macau no dia seguinte. No apartamento foram apreendidos 8 GOIP, 2 routers, 2 decodificadores ópticos, 2 carregadores portáteis, 2 tomadas inteligentes com temporizador e 1 cartão SD, todos os equipamentos estavam em estado operacional.
Os dois confessaram que foram contratados para fazer verificação e manutenção dos equipamentos em Macau. Os detidos foram presentes ao MP por associação criminosa e burla (de valor elevado) e a PJ irá continuar a investigar se existia vítimas.
