偵破不法賭博集團拘八內地男
本局早前接獲情報指有內地犯罪集團租用氹仔區某大廈單位經營不法網絡博彩活動，經調查後於2020年1月12日採取行動，在該單位拘捕八名犯罪集團內地成員，檢獲一批疑用作非法賭博活動的電腦及伺服器等證物。
據查，該犯罪集團自2019年10月起運作，客源以內地賭客為主，集團以虛擬貨幣收受投注及派彩，博彩項目包括鬥地主、百家樂、老虎機、龍虎鬥及骰寶等；八名被捕男子分別負責賭博網站的文案、版面設計、策劃推廣及程式維護等工作。
本局以犯罪集團罪和不法經營賭博罪將八名涉案男子移送檢察院偵辦，並繼續追查其他涉案人士。
Illegal gambling syndicate busted, arresting eight mainland Chinese men
Having received intelligence earlier that a mainland Chinese criminal syndicate had rented an apartment of a building in Taipa to operate illegal online gambling activities, the Judiciary Police took action on 12th January 2020 upon investigation. Eight members of the criminal syndicate, all from mainland China, were arrested in the said apartment, while evidence including computers, servers, etc. used for operating illegal gambling activities was seized.
Investigation revealed that the criminal syndicate had started operating since October 2019, mainly targeting at mainland Chinese gamblers. The syndicate received wagers and distributed payouts with virtual currencies. The types of games included Dou Dizhu, baccarat, slot machines, Dragon Tiger, Sic Bo, etc. The eight arrestees were respectively responsible for the copywriting, layout design, planning and promotion, programme maintenance, etc. of the gambling website.
The Judiciary Police transferred the eight involved men to the Public Prosecutions Office for the charges of criminal syndicate and illegal operation of gambling, while continuing to pursue to other involved individuals.

A PJ recebeu informações indicando que uma rede criminosa da China continental tinha alugado um apartamento num prédio da Taipa para explorar jogo ilegal online, nas investigações os agentes entraram em acção em 12 de Janeiro de 2020 e foram detidos oito membros daquela rede, todos provenientes da RPC, na dita fracção também foram apreendidas provas como computadores e servidores que se destinam alegadamente ao jogo online.
A PJ verificou que esta rede criminosa começou a operar a partir de Outubro de 2019. A sua clientela era principalmente feita de jogadores da China continental, tanto a colocação de apostas como o pagamento dos prémios eram efectuados em moeda virtual, com tipos de jogo como Dou dizhu, Bacará, slot machine, Dragon Tiger Cussec etc. Os oito detidos eram responsáveis pelo trabalho redactorial, gráfica, promoção e protecção de programa do sítio de jogo, entre outros.
Os oito detidos foram presentes ao MP por associação criminosa e jogo ilegal, a PJ continua à procura dos eventuais cúmplices.
