內地男子涉盜竊被拘

2019年12月27日，本局接獲一名內地女子報稱在路氹城區某酒店商場購物期間，被人盜去背包內37,000港元現金。本局調閱現場錄像後發現一名男子尾隨事主，乘事主購物時拉開其背包拉鏈，並使用長鑷子多次夾取背包內的現金，得手後即逃去無蹤。

直至2020年1月10日，該商場保安員截獲涉案男子並通知本局；本局派員到場，在涉案男子腰間搜出一枝金屬鑷子，其亦承認犯案，所得款項已全數輸清。本局以加重盜竊罪將涉案男子移送檢察院偵辦。

Mainland man arrested for involvement in theft

On 27th December 2019, the Judiciary Police received a report from a mainland woman who claimed that her HKD37,000 in cash inside her backpack had been stolen while she was shopping inside a shopping arcade of a hotel in the Cotai Strip. After consulting the on-scene video footages, the Judiciary Police found that a man tailed the victim and seized the opportunity to unzip her backpack while she was shopping. A pair of long tweezers was used several times to clip the cash inside the backpack. He fled immediately without a trace after committing the crime.

Until 10th January 2020, the security guard of the shopping arcade intercepted the involved man and notified the Judiciary Police about it. The Judiciary Police dispatched personnel to the scene. A pair of metallic tweezers was found at the waist of the involved man. He also confessed that he had committed the crime and had gambled away all the money acquired.

The Judiciary Police transferred the involved man to the Public Prosecutions Office for the offence of aggravated theft.

Detido um homem do continente por furto

No dia 27 de Dezembro de 2019, a PJ recebeu uma queixa de uma mulher da China Continental, na qual alegava ter sido vítima de furto quando fazia compras no centro comercial dum hotel do COTAI, tendo desaparecido 37.000 HKD que levava na mochila. A PJ consultou as gravações da CCTV e verificou que a vítima estava a ser seguida por um homem, o qual aproveitou os momentos em que a mesma estava distraída nas compras para abrir a sua mochila, tirando dali, por várias vezes, dinheiro com uma pinça comprida. Depois disso o homem fugiu do local.

No dia 10 de Janeiro de 2020, o pessoal de segurança daquele centro comercial conseguiu interceptar o suspeito e notificou a PJ. Os nossos agentes deslocaram-se ao local e, na posse do suspeito, foi encontrada uma pinça de metal. O homem confessou o crime e disse que já tinha perdido todo o dinheiro no jogo. O mesmo foi presente ao MP por furto qualificado.
