內地男子涉勒索前女友被拘
2019年12月31日，本局接獲一名內地女子報稱被前男友拍下裸照並勒索三萬港元，經調查後得悉兩人於12月11日在新口岸區某娛樂場相遇，然後在涉案男子租住的酒店房間發生性行為，事後涉案男子不滿事主另結新歡，強行用手機拍攝僅以浴巾包裹身體的事主，又對其毆打。其後，涉案男子將事主的不雅照片和短片發送給其前夫及一名朋友，並向事主勒索三萬港元，以及要脅事主於12月31日與之見面，否則會繼續發送短片。本局隨即進行部署，並在兩人相約見面地點拘捕涉案男子，以勒索、普通傷害身體完整性、不法之錄製品及照片等三罪將之移送檢察院處理。
Mainland Chinese man arrested for extorting ex-girlfriend
The Judiciary Police received a complaint from a mainland Chinese woman on 31st December 2019 that her ex-boyfriend had taken nude photos of her, for which he extorted HKD 30,000 from her. Investigation revealed that the two had met in a casino in ZAPE on December 11th before performing sexual intercourse in the involved man’s hotel room. Subsequently realizing that the victim had thrown him over for a new lover, the involved man, feeling resentful, forcibly took pictures of the victim barely wrapped in a bath towel and assaulted her. The involved man later sent the indecent pictures and videos of the victim to her ex-husband and a friend to extort HKD 30,000 from her. He threatened the victim to meet him on December 31st; otherwise he would continue sending the videos. The Judiciary Police deployed officers promptly to arrest the involved man at their meeting place. He was transferred to the Public Prosecutions Office for the three charges of extortion, common assault causing harm to bodily integrity, illegal recordings and photographs.
Detido um homem da China continental por extorsão à sua ex-namorada
No dia 31 de Dezembro de 2019, a PJ recebeu uma denúncia de uma mulher da China continental dizendo que o seu ex-namorado tinha tirado as suas fotos nuas para depois extorquir-lhe 30.000 HKD. Na sequência da investigação, descobriu-se que os dois se encontraram num casino do ZAPE no dia 11 de Dezembro, tiveram uma relação sexual num quarto de hotel que o homem alugou. Posteriormente, o homem ficou zangado ao saber que a mulher já tinha um novo namorado, usou assim o seu telemóvel e tirou-lhe umas fotos nas quais ela só estava coberta por toalha de banho, e também a agrediu. Mais tarde, o homem enviou estas fotos e alguns vídeos para o ex-marido e um amigo da mulher, para além de extorquir-lhe 30.000HKD, ainda a obrigou a ter um encontro com ele no dia 31 de Dezembro, se não o fizesse, disse-lhe que iria continuar a enviar vídeos para outros. A PJ iniciou a investigação de imediato, conseguiu deter o homem no local do encontro onde estes dois combinaram. O detido foi presente ao MP por extorsão, ofensa simples à integridade física, bem como gravações e fotografias ilícitas.
