店舖職員涉盜竊被捕
2019年12月19日，路氹城區某商場商店負責人報案稱店內一名職員盜竊公司的營運現金105,600港元。
本局經調查獲悉事主於2019年12月19日收到涉案人所發短訊，告知其盜去店舖抽屜內的營運現金，其後涉案人返回店鋪與事主商討還款事宜，由於涉案人無法交回款項，事主遂即報警求助。
經本局人員訊問後，涉案人承認犯案，供稱因需負擔母親的醫療費用及償還銀行信用卡款項，曾先後三次盜竊公司營運現金，並且每次盜竊後隨即到附近娛樂場賭博，贓款已全數輸清。本局以加重盜竊罪將涉案人移送檢察院偵辦。
Shop employee arrested for theft
On 19th December 2019, the person in charge of a shop in a shopping mall in the Cotai district reported that an employee inside the shop had stolen HKD 105,600 of the company’s operating cash.
Investigation revealed that on 19th December 2019, the involved person sent a text message to the victim to notify him that he had stolen the operating cash placed inside the drawer of the shop. He later returned to the shop to discuss the matter of repayment with the victim. As the involved person was unable to repay the amount, the victim reported the case to the police immediately.
After being interrogated by the personnel of the Judiciary Police, the involved person admitted to have committed the crime, and confessed that he had stolen the company’s operating cash on three occasions as he had to bear his mother’s medical expenses and pay off his credit card bills. Every time after he had committed theft, he went straight to casinos nearby to gamble. All the stolen money had already been gambled away. The Judiciary Police transferred the involved person to the Public Prosecutions Office for the offence of aggravated theft.
Detido um funcionário de uma loja por furto
No dia 19 de Dezembro de 2019, um responsável de uma loja de um centro comercial do Cotai fez uma queixa contra um funcionário por este ter furtado dinheiro da companhia, num valor de 105.600 HKD.
Na investigação, apurou-se que o denunciante recebeu um SMS enviada pelo suspeito no referido dia 19 de Dezembro, informando-o de que ele tinha furtado o dinheiro colocado numa gaveta da loja e, mais tarde, o funcionário voltou para a loja para discutir com o denunciante sobre a respectiva devolução. Entretanto, dado o suspeito não ter conseguido devolver o dinheiro, assim, o denunciante fez queixa à PJ.
Após o interrogatório, o suspeito confessou o crime e admitiu ter actuado em três ocasiões por precisar de pagar as despensas médicas da sua mãe e as facturas de cartão de crédito e disse também que, após cada furto, tinha ido jogar num casino perto e o dinheiro furtado tinha sido totalmente perdido ao jogo. O detido foi presente ao MP por furto qualificado.
